A current socket according to claim 1 characterised in that said two pairs of end metal contacts (1, 2, 7, 8) that are each connected to a pair of electrical wires are pairs of long contacts that follow a path in two opposite directions and whose contact paths (1B, 2B, 7B, 8B) are parallel to each other and oriented generally toward the rear of said female entry mouth.
  3. A current socket according to one of claims 1 and 2 characterised in that each contact part (1B, 2B, 7B, 8B) of each long contact of said series has an end (1D, 2D, 7D, 8D) free of any mechanical engagement with an insulative support (131).
  4. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that each end metal contact (1, 2, 7, 8) is in the general shape of a hairpin with two branches of different lengths (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 7A, 7B, 8A, 8B) that are connected together by a connection forming a hinge (1C, 2C, 7C, 8C), the short branch (1B, 2B, 7B, 8B) that is oriented toward the rear of said female entry mouth constituting said contact part (1B, 2B, 7B, 8B) and the long branch (1A, 2A, 7A, 8A) being situated to the rear with respect to said short branch (1B, 2B, 4B, 8B).
  5. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 4 characterised in that said contact part (1B, 2B, 7B, 8B) of each end metal contact (1, 2, 7, 8) has a bend oriented toward the rear of said female entry mouth.
  6. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that said contact parts (3B, 4B, 5B, 6B) of said central metal contacts (3, 4, 5, 6) comprise at their end a beak (3C, 4C, 5C, 6C) bearing against an insulative support (131).
  7. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 6 characterised in that said contact parts (3B, 4B, 5B, 6B) of said central metal contacts (3, 4, 5, 6) are of a generally crenellated form.
  8. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 7 characterised in that said contact part (1B, 2B, 7B, 8B) of each end metal contact (1, 2, 7, 8) is shorter than said contact part (3B, 4B, 5B, 6B) of each central metal contact (3, 4, 5, 6).
  9. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 8 characterised in that said contact parts (3B, 4B, 5B, 6B) of said central metal contacts (3, 4, 5, 6) are of the same length and said contact parts (1B, 2B, 7B, 8B) of said end metal contacts (1, 2, 7, 8) are of the same length.
  10. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 9 characterised in that said metal contacts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are attached to an insulative plate (135), said tails (1', 2', 3', 4', 5', 6', 7', 8') of said metal contacts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) emerging from said insulative plate (135) toward the rear of said body (110) and being pinhead-shaped to be force-fitted into orifices (142) in a printed circuit support plate (140).
  11. A current socket according to claim 10 characterised in that said tails (1', 2', 3',4',5',6', 7', 8') of said metal contacts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are arranged in a quincunx on the insulative plate (135) and that each central metal contact (3, 4, 5, 6) comprises a part (3A, 4A, 5A, 6A) for taking up play between its tail (3', 4', 5', 6') and its contact part (3B, 4B, 5B, 6B).
  12. A current socket according to one of claims 1 to 11 characterised in that it comprises an insulative support (131) provided with eight slots receiving said metal contacts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), said insulating support (131) being received in an opening (111) disposed at the rear of said body (110).
