Abstract
The invention relates to a pipe separator for separating a domestic water system that can be refilled or refilled from a drinking water system from this drinking water system with an upstream and a downstream non-return valve and a drain valve, by means of which a medium-pressure zone arranged between the inlet-side and the outlet-side non-return valve can be connected to an outlet. The drain valve is movable against a restoring force from the difference in the pressures of the drinking water system and the medium pressure zone in the closed position. The invention aims to design a pipe separator so that a large flow cross-section in the filling direction can be realized with a compact design. For this purpose, the medium pressure zone (124) is formed by a chamber in a cup-shaped housing (114), which is closed off by an annular ring membrane (170). The valve closing body (116) has a sleeve-shaped part which is connected to the inner edge of the ring-shaped ring membrane (170) and is closed at the other end by a valve plate (162). The valve disk interacts with a valve seat (156) on the bottom of the housing. The interior of the sleeve-shaped part is connected to an inlet space (178) and to the medium pressure zone (124) via lateral openings (198). The upstream backflow preventer sits in the interior of the sleeve-shaped part upstream of the side openings. The bottom of the housing (114) is double-walled and forms a chamber which is connected to the drain (152) via the valve passage of the drain valve (108) with the medium pressure zone (124). A ring of webs (140) with passages (128, 130, 132, 134) is formed around the valve passage (154). These passages connect the medium pressure zone (124) with the domestic water system. A plurality of downstream flow restrictors sit (106) in these passages.
