Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a turbine with a housing and a rotor, the housing having multiple rows of guide vanes and the rotor with several rows of blades is provided and on the housing in the axial direction between A guide ring is provided for every two rows of guide vanes is the one with the associated row of blades limited a gap.
In the known turbines, the gap or whose size is thermally regulated. For this purpose it will Housing in the area of the blade is significantly stronger than required cooled. Due to this increased cooling the housing together and the gap is reduced. The Cooling medium, generally cooling air, is generated from one of the turbines assigned compressor. Then it cannot be used more for combustion. Because of this, sink both the performance and the efficiency of the turbine.
The object of the present invention is therefore a change the gap without affecting performance and efficiency with simple means.
According to the invention, this task is at the beginning of a turbine mentioned type in that the guide ring for Changing the gap is adjustable.
Due to the mechanical adjustability of the guide ring thermal regulation is no longer required. The The need for cooling medium can thus be drastically reduced. to Changing the gap, the guide ring is adjusted. There the guide ring is usually designed as a separate component is provided between two rows of guide vanes is, the additional constructive effort required is very low. The adjustment can be highly precise and with minimal There is a time delay. It is therefore an adaptation of the Gaps even at rapidly changing boundary conditions without difficulty possible.
Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention emerge from the dependent claims.
According to a first advantageous embodiment, the guide ring adjustable in the axial direction of the turbine. Since that Turbine housing is generally tapered the desired change through the adjustment in the axial direction of the gap reached. A change in the scope of the Guide ring is not required. However, according to a second embodiment of the guide ring also in the radial direction be adjustable.
In the first embodiment, the guide ring advantageously has at least one guide surface that is parallel to one The axis of rotation of the rotor runs. This leadership area stands in contact with at least one fixed support surface. The support surface can be directly on the housing or on a component attached to the housing are provided. Also the support surface runs parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor. The guide ring advantageously has two such guide surfaces on that in contact with associated support surfaces stand. It is ensured that the guide ring only in Axial direction adjustable parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor is. Accidental radial adjustment of the guide ring is reliably avoided.
The support surface can in particular on the platforms on the Guide ring adjacent guide vanes are formed. Additional processing of the housing is then not necessary.
The guide ring on a guide ring carrier is advantageous attached, which is adjustable relative to the housing. The Guide ring carrier ensures reliable mounting of the Guide ring. Undefined movements of the guide ring will be reliably excluded. The leader can be simple inserted into a corresponding recess in the housing and in turn guided in a suitable manner in this recess become. It can therefore be used from the start with new turbines on as well as in existing turbines be retrofitted.
According to an advantageous development, the guide ring carrier has at least one groove in which to adjust a rotatably drivable eccentric engages. By a suitable one Selection of materials for the leader and the eccentric can be dispensed with lubrication. The Adjustment can then be designed for high temperatures. It works quickly and reliably and is easy to manufacture.
In an advantageous development is between the guide ring and the guide ring carrier a cooling chamber for cooling the Guide ring provided. The cooling chamber is about suitable Connected with a cooling medium. The guide ring can therefore also be used at high temperatures.
