Durch das Zusammenschieben der beiden Hälften entsteht ein Behältnis, das sich als zweckmässig und überaus vielseitig einsetzen lässt. Angenehm ist auf jeden Fall, dass die Aussenkonturen der Hälften 13, 14 abgerundet sind und dadurch das Etui auch Platz sparend wirkt. Die Hälften 15, 16 sind im Queschnitt rechteckig und sehr gut als Werbeträger geeignet. In die Innenwandung der Hälften 13, 15 muss eine weiche Auskleidung eingelegt und so verarbeitet sein, dass das verwendete Material nicht überlappt und dadurch ein Wulst entsteht, der sich eventuell beim Zusammenschieben nachteilig auswirken könnte. Das Material für diese Innenauskleidung kann ein weiches Leder, auch Filz, ein textiles Gewebe oder ein aufgeschäumter Kunststoff und als Schale oder Hülse ohne, oder mit Endung ausgebildet und in der Innenwandung verklebt sein. Sollte nicht eine dementsprechende weiche Innenauskleidung vorgenommen werden, würden sich automatisch die Aussenflächen der Hälfte 14, 16 zerkratzen und unansehlich darstellen.
Ausserdem könnte an den übergestülpten Hälften 2, 13 und 15 die aufgezogen wird, z. B. oben rechts eine kleine Prägung 28 vorgenommen werden, so dass man fühlen kann, ob man beim Öffnen die vordere oder rückseitige Etuihälfte in Händen hält. Es ist vor allem dann von Vorteil, wenn die Röhren abgeschrägt sind und die kürzeste möglichst oben liegen sollte. Die Gesamtlänge des Etuis kann vorteilhafterweise beim Zusammenschieben der Hälften jeweils selbst bestimmt werden. Bei Lederetuis ist es nachhaltig und sehr unangenehm, wenn die Zigarren, Zigarillos dem Ledergeruch ausgesetzt sind, deshalb verwenden wir zusätzlich Zedernholzröhren wie in ( Fig. 18, 19, 20) und integrieren Sie in das Lederetui, so dass sich der Ledergeruch in möglichst geringem Umfang auf den Inhalt des Etuis auswirken kann.

Die Zedernholzröhren, können mit einem speziellen Schnittverfahren an der Seite 19 a derartig abgeschrägt geschnitten werden, so dass bei einer Längenabstimmung für eine Zigarre, Zigarillo, Zigarette einerseits der Inhalt der Röhre gut ersichtlich ist und mit den Fingern problemlos der beinhaltete Gegenstand herausgezogen werden kann. Bei einer Anordnung ab 2 Stück Röhren bis eventuell 5 und mehr Röhren, die in einer Reihe oder zweireihig angebracht sind, lassen sich so unterschiedliche Längen von Zigarren optimal aufbewahren. Ausserdem können im Durchmesser verschieden dicke und lange Röhren nebeneinander oder hintereinander angebracht zusammen stehen, so dass der Benutzer die Möglichkeit einer individuellen Bevorratung erreichen kann. Die Röhren könnten an der Seite 19 b mit einem weichen Schaumstoff 17 und einem dahinter liegenden kleinen Pfropf 23 fest verschlossen werden. An der Seite 19 a könnte die Röhre ebenfalls mit einem Pfropf 23 der sich leicht eindrehen oder leicht aufstecken lässt und jederzeit wieder abnehmen lässt die Röhre fest verschlossen werden, so dass dann die Röhre als einzelne Verpackung für eine Zigarette oder Zigarillo verwendet werden könnte.
In den Figuren 13, 14, 15 und 16 sind Dosen abgebildet, die vornehmlich rund, oval, rechteckig oder quadratisch ausgebildet sein können.
