Abstract

The aim of the invention is to provide an easy fastening of a tubular supply or a vertical pipe in a bottom covering of a cooling chamber for pistons of internal combustion engines, e.g. in a circular covering of a cooling channel of an articulated-skirt piston. To this end, the vertical tube or the tubular supply is clipped into the bottom covering or is fastened thereto by a detent connection.

Derartige Abdeckungen sind z. B. bekannt aus der US 4,377,967 A oder aus der DD-PS 91162. In Fig. 4 und Fig. 5 der US 4,377,967 ist ein Standrohr 38 dargestellt, das eine bestimmte Füllhöhe oberhalb der Abdeckung bzw. in dem Napf 70 gewährleisten soll. Das Standrohr besteht aus Metall und ist durch Löten oder Schweißen mit der Abdeckung verbunden. Bei der DE-PS 91162 ragt ein Einspritzröhrchen 15 sowohl nach oben in den Kühlkanal hinein als auch als rohrartiger Zulauf nach unten in Richtung einer Öl-Spritzdüse 17. Die Art der Befestigung des Einspritzröhrchens am Kühlkanal ist nicht erkennbar.
