  • the pillow and bedding of the invention may also be used in domestic applications to avoid problems with dust mites and fungal infections. It is also envisaged that this type of pillow product could be incorporated in headrests for airline seating.

Claims (13)

  1. Coussin (1) comprenant
    un recouvrement externe (2) imperméable aux liquides et fermé de manière hermétique ;
    une matière de remplissage (3, 4) confinée dans le recouvrement externe (2) ;
    un évent (5) pratiqué dans le recouvrement (2) établissant une communication entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur du recouvrement (2) ; et
    un moyen de filtre à air (6) de type bactériologique monté à travers l'évent (5) pour pouvoir filtrer l'air passant à travers l'évent (5) ;
    caractérisé en ce que le filtre (6) comprend une couche externe constituée d'une matière résistant aux liquides, un certain nombre de couches internes superposées constituées d'une matière filtrante étant fixées à la couche externe ; et en ce que les couches de matières sont soudées les unes aux autres et au recouvrement (2) à travers l'évent.
  2. Coussin (1) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le filtre (6) est conçu pour bloquer le passage de particules possédant une dimension de 0,6 micron ou plus.
  3. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le filtre (6) est constitué d'une matière plastique non-tissée qui peut être soudée.
  4. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel les couches filtrantes sont soudées les unes aux autres et au recouvrement externe (2) à l'aide d'un soudage par ultrasons.
  5. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la matière filtrante est du polyester.
  6. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans lequel la matière filtrante est du nylon.
  7. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le recouvrement (2) est constitué d'une matière élastique.
  8. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le recouvrement (2) est constitué par une ou plusieurs feuilles de matières dont les bords se chevauchent et sont interconnectés par des joints soudés (7, 8, 9) pour former le recouvrement (2) fermé de manière étanche.
  9. Coussin (1) selon la revendication 8, dans lequel le coussin (1) est formé à l'aide d'une feuille rectangulaire unique constituée d'une matière repliée sur elle-même dont les bords latéraux (7, 9) se chevauchent, les bords terminaux (8) de la feuille étant soudés les uns aux autres.
  10. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la matière de remplissage comprend une matière de mousse résiliente.
  11. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la matière de remplissage comprend une partie centrale (3) en mousse résiliente entourée d'une couche externe constituée d'une matière fibreuse creuse (4).
  12. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le recouvrement (2) est imperméable aux vapeurs.
  13. Coussin (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel (2) une matière fongistatique ou une matière d'arrêt bactériologique.
