Abstract

The invention relates to a balun which takes up very little space and which is economical to produce. Said balun consists of four interconnected planar lines (1, 2, 3, 4). One end of a first line (1) is configured as a first symmetrical terminal (5). The other end of said first line (1) is connected to the adjacent end of the second adjacent line (2). Die beiden Viertel-Wellenlängenkoppler sind so miteinander verbunden, daß ein 3 -toriges Symmertierglied entsteht, das einen Anschluß für unsymmetrische Signale und zwei Anschlüsse für symmetrische Signale aufweist . Bei dem Leitungskoppler in offener Schaltungskonfiguration sind die einander gegenüberliegenden Enden der beiden Leitungen leerlaufend. Ein anderes Ende der beiden Leitungen dient als symmetrischer Anschluß. Das gegenüberliegende Ende der anderen Leitung ist mit einem Ende einer der beiden in kurzgeschlossener Schaltungskonfiguration ausgeführten Leitungskopplers verbunden. Von diesem Leitungskoppler sind zwei einander gegenüberliegende Enden der beiden Leitungen mit Masse kontaktiert, und ein anderes Ende einer Leitung bildet einen weiteren Anschluß für symmetrische Signale . Die beiden miteinander verbundenen Leitungsenden der beiden Leitungskoppler bilden das Anschlußtor für unsymmetrische Signale. Um eine enge 3 dB-Kopplung zwischen den Leitungen zu erzielen, ist hier das Symmetrierglied in Mehrlagentechnik aufgebaut.
