Abstract

Für eine Gießform für eine Leichtmetall-Gießmaschine wird zur Gewichtsreduzierung und zur Senkung der Herstellkosten vorgeschlagen, dass ein konturgebender Bereich der Gießform als ein gesondertes Teil mit einer eigensteifen Wandung durch Sintern oder heißisostatisches Pressen erzeugt wird, und dass ein maschinenseitiger Teil der Gießform durch Umgießen des konturgebenden Teils mit einem mit diesem Teil sich stoffschlüssig verbindenden Eisenwerkstoff ausgebildet wird.
