Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Haushaltsgerät, insbesondere Gargerät oder Geschirrspüler, mit einem Gerätegehäuse und mindestens einer das Gerätegehäuse verschließenden Tür, wobei eine Frontplatte (1) der Tür aus Glas, Glaskeramik oder dergleichen Material besteht und mit einem Griffelement (2) zum Öffnen und/oder Verschließen der Tür versehen ist. Um ein Griffelement (2) für ein Haushaltsgerät der eingangs genannten Art so auszugestalten, dass dieses einfach und kostengünstig herstellbar ist und darüber hinaus einfach zu bedienen ist, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass das Griffelement (2) als eine Hinterschneidung (3) bildende plastische Einformung in der Frontplatte (1) ausgebildet ist.
