Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'imagerie par résonance magnétique, et d'analyse spectroscopique, d'un spécimen. Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant à placer le spécimen dans un champ magnétique principal, à introduire une antenne comprenant une portion d'antenne non-cadre (22), au proche voisinage du spécimen, à produire des impulsions de fréquence radioélectrique dans une région cible, afin d'exciter des signaux de résonance magnétique, à appliquer des impulsions magnétiques à gradient, sur la région cible, au moyen de l'antenne recevant les signaux de résonance magnétique, et à émettre en réponse des signaux de sortie. Un processeur traite ces signaux de sortie afin de fournir des informations d'images destinées à être affichées de la manière voulue. Un procédé préféré met en oeuvre une antenne souple. Un autre procédé préféré implique la mise en oeuvre d'un circuit d'adaptation d'impédance (30), connecté électriquement entre l'antenne non-cadre et le processeur, aux fins d'accroissement du transfert de l'énergie de fréquence radioélectrique, et d'accroissement du rapport signal/bruit de résonance magnétique, entre l'antenne non-cadre (22) et le processeur.
