Abstract

The method involves using an electrical or electronic signal from a sensor (16) connected to measurement points on gas and combustion air lines (10,12) for regulation and carrying out a sensor safety check in the event of a heat demand. A heating device associated with the sensor is switched off for the sensor safety check and the check is carried out with the heating device off.
