Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Steuerung einer magerlauffähigen Verbrennungskraftmaschine mit einem in einem Abgaskanal der Verbrennungskraftmaschine angeordneten Katalysatorsystem, bestehend aus mindestens einem Katalysator.The invention relates to a method for controlling a lean-running Internal combustion engine with one in an exhaust duct Internal combustion engine arranged catalyst system consisting of at least one catalyst.
Es ist vorgesehen, dass unzulässige Verbrennungsereignisse registriert werden und eine Steuerung eines Magerbetriebes der Verbrennungskraftmaschine (10) in Abhängigkeit von einer Häufigkeit der unzulässigen Verbrennungsereignisse erfolgt, wobei der Magerbetrieb mit zunehmender Häufigkeit der unzulässigen Verbrennungsereignisse eingeschränkt oder gesperrt wird. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ermöglicht bei der Zulassung eines Magerbetriebs der Verbrennungskraftmaschine (10) die Berücksichtigung einer durch unzulässige Verbrennungsereignisse hervorgerufenen Beeinträchtigung des Katalysatorsystems hinsichtlich seiner Konvertierungsrate, so dass im Ergebnis eine Schadstoffemission reduziert wird.
