Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a conductor connection element for connecting electrical Conductors, preferably for conductors with large wire cross sections.
Such a conductor connection element is used for detachable, quick and easy connection to be made of electrical conductors with electrical IDCs.
The known connections with insulation displacement connectors have an unfavorable effect from that simple insulation displacement contacts due to the small contact surfaces between the electrical conductors and the narrow contact blades can only transmit limited currents.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a conductor connecting element of the type mentioned to train with a simple Assembly and connection of electrical conductors is made possible can also transmit high currents.
This object is achieved in that a connection body is provided is in which a U-shaped conductor receiving chamber is formed that in Connection body is provided with a threaded hole into which a clamping screw can be screwed in that the connecting body with at least one Insulation clamp is provided and that one in the conductor receiving chamber inserted electrical conductor when screwing in the clamping screw this is pressed into the conductor receiving chamber, the insulation displacement terminal sever the sheath of the electrical conductor and the conductor with the insulation displacement contact electrically.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are in claims 2-12 specified.
The advantages achieved by the invention consist in particular in the fact that a conductor connection element with a double insulation displacement arrangement can be acted upon with significantly higher currents, the insulation displacement terminals being arranged symmetrically to the clamping screw arranged in the middle.
Furthermore, a secure electrical contact is ensured by an insulation displacement contact, which requires only slight actuation forces even with larger cable cross sections.
Because of the open design of the conductor connection element, in which the contact point can be viewed directly, simple visual control of the contact state between the insulation displacement connector and the electrical conductor is also advantageous.
An advantageous development of the invention results from the use of a clamping screw with a non-rotating thrust piece which presses the electrical conductor into the insulation displacement terminals, the additional frictional forces that occur on the sheathing of the electrical conductor being avoided by the rotating clamping screw.

Leiters verteilt.FIG. 6 shows a conductor connecting element in which, as in FIG. 1, two individual
