  • the YMS Reservation Activity Simulator is an adjunct module which computer simulates GRTMS operation. Input to the simulation is captured actual or emulated guest calls and or GDS booking requests. Several GRTMS operates normally against this input. The output is the reservation results data described above which may be evaluated against the actual reservation results data.
  • RAS requires that a statistically accurate caller be emulated. "Statistically accurate” in this context means that over a large number of individual reservation opportunities processed by RMS, the emulated caller will produce nearly the same output results as would a similar number of real callers. Both the reservation results data (gross effects) and reservation context capture (fine effects) are used to emulate an individual caller's desires (attributes requested, etc) and reactions (e.g., rate resistance).

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et une méthodologie de réservation assurant que toutes les modifications effectuées dans la base de données d'une fédération soient immédiatement communiquées de manière sûre à toutes les autres bases de données de la fédération. Ce système communique des informations sur les opérations de réservations d'hôtels, et il comprend des applications multiples associées chacune à une ou plusieurs bases de données contenant les données de réservation d'hôtel. Les bases de données de la fédération correspondent aux transactions communiquées aux autres bases de données et elles utilisent les informations reçues d'autres bases de données pour déterminer les opérations possibles pour leurs applications locales associées, et la façon avec laquelle elles sont traitées. Dans un des modes de réalisation, les communications entre les bases de données se font par Internet et par des dispositifs de stockage de données via des messages mis en paquets de façon sûre adressées à des objets représentant les bases de données pertinentes. De préférence, ce système comprend une base de données centrale fonctionnant comme source primaire pour vérifier les réservations et les données d'hôtels. De plus, ce système comprend un sous-système de rendement permettant aux hôtels d'augmenter leurs recettes.
