Diesen Systemen gemeinsam ist der Umstand, daß für die Authentifizierung eine spe- zielle Hardware-Komponente erforderlich ist.

Erfindungsgemäß wird zur Authentifizierung ein sogenanntes Codeblatt verwendet. Zur optischen Authentifizierung weist das Codeblatt Zeichen und/oder geometrische Muster auf. In einem einfachsten Fall können beispielsweise farbige Punkte verwendet werden, die in einer bestimmten Anordnung auf dem Codeblatt aufgebracht sind. Form und/oder Farbe oder eine Kombination aus beiden bilden dabei den Authentifizie- rungscode. Das Codeblatt kann in verschiedenen Formen und Farben ausgeführt sein, beispielsweise als helles Kästchen mit dunklen Flächen, in einer bestimmten Anordnung, oder auch mit verschieden farbigen Punkten. Die Auswertung der Kamerainformation und der Vergleich des gezeigten Codeblattes mit einem gespeicherten Muster geschieht durch den gleichen leistungsfähigen Mikroprozessor, der ohnehin schon im Gerät implementiert ist.
