  • the invention refers to the rotary cleaning brushes, driven by the pressure of the cleaning water. Brushes of this type are described, for example, in the Italian patents application Nos. 3325 A/79, 4744 B/79 that contemplate the use of one brush to clean the bottles, keyed onto the axis of a small Pelton turbine driven by the pressure of the water taken from the watermains, which in part is fed axially through the same brush to arrive at the interior of the bottle overturned in the phase of washing. It is also known a hydrobrush for the same use, described in the patent application No. 29009 B/81, in which the cleaning brush is driven by means of a speed reducing gear, that makes it possible to increase the torque transmitted to the same brush, in order to make with this latter a more strong cleaning.

  • the invention intends to obviate to these and other drawbacks of the known prior art, with an hydrobrush in which the speed reducing gearing is distant from the impeller and confined inside a little box, with the side walls obtained integral with the bell shaped body of the same hydrobrush and closed downwardly by the flat body of the impeller of the turbine, or by a lid for example snap assembled onto the edge suitably shaped of said walls.
  • the box containing said gear is provided with suitable openings, for example in the corner zones, to allow the free passage to the water entering in the same box, also to ensure a sufficient lubrication of said gear.
  • reference numeral 1 indicates the overturned cup shaped body made of plastic of the said hydrobrush, provided with the hollow handle 2 also made of plastic material arranged with the end 102 for the connection with a flexible duct for feeding the water under pressure and provided on the other end that opens in said body 1, with the nozzle 3 oriented tangentially with respect to the impeller G of the turbine and from which comes out the jet of water under pressure that will determine the rotation of the said impeller G.
