Abstract

Lorsqu'on place des porcelets dans des porcheries à alimentation libre, p. ex. 30 porcelets par porcherie, les animaux mettent quelques semaines à utiliser des dispositifs ordinaires d'alimentation libre, et, pendant cette période, on utilise des dispositifs d'un autre type qui permettent de doser automatiquement la nourriture à l'aide d'une commande à distance et d'un moteur. L'invention permet d'intégrer de façon plus ou moins étendue les deux types de dispositifs en question, sur la base, entre autres, du fait qu'une alimentation automatique fréquente par quantités relativement faibles permet d'éviter que les porcelets se bousculent autour des mangeoires ; sinon, il est nécessaire d'aménager des agrégats d'alimentation automatique à mangeoires relativement grandes. Ce type de grande mangeoire peut cependant faire partie d'un ensemble de remplacement associé à une partie de dispositif assurant une alimentation active.
