Description

DESCRIPTION SYSTEM COMPRISING AN APPARATUS FOR DISINFECTING AND/OR SCENTING RUBBISH BINS
Technical Field The present invention relates to the technical sector of the realization of systems capable of healing and/or scenting the containers for containing or transporting rubbish. Particularly, it relates to the systems and the apparatus for healing and scenting the so-called rubbish bins, for public and not household use, where families, firms or other activities surrounding a definite territorial area concentrated in that bin, throw their refuse. Background art Experts of this field know the problems caused by the unpleasant smell that arises inside or around public rubbish bins, because of the large quantity of refuse of any kind dumped into them. In addition to this smell, said bins involve the development of germs and bacteria, which are often a cause of diseases and infections. In order to avoid these drawbacks, the only solution is to wash more times the container and put a disinfectant substance on its bottom. Anyway, this system presents other relevant drawbacks. First of all, it results very expensive and even difficult to carry out along narrow or high traffic streets, where a truck that provides for the cleaning and disinfecting of the bins could block the traffic for several minutes. Secondly, this type of treatment has a short effect in time, since once the bin is filled again with rubbish, the above- mentioned hygienic drawbacks and unpleasant smells arise again. This invention principally aims at eliminating the above- mentioned drawbacks and supplying a system capable of automatically healing and scenting rubbish bins, so that it drastically reduces (in some cases even eliminates) the need to wash them.
Disclosure of invention
The present invention relates to a system for healing and scenting rubbish bins. Th s system works by means of an apparatus connected to the b n, which is imperceptible to the user, but can prevent the development of germs, bacteria and smells .
The numerous advantages resulting from this invention essentially consist of the fact that it prevents the diffusion of unpleasant smells as the rubbish bin is always kept clean; it avoids, or at least reduces, the maintenance of the bin that may be used for a longer time without being washed; t automatically works and doesn't require any activation by the user; it doesn't present any risk or danger for the user; it's resistant to atmospheric agents and it' s hardly damaged; t has a low cost; t considerably reduces the cost for the treatment of urban refuse; it permits to place rubbish bins even n populated areas as they do not cause inconvenience to people but result perfectly scented.
We reached these results, realising a system and an apparatus with the characteristics described in the separate claims. Other characteristics of this invention are the object of dependent claims .
It consists of a system and an electronic apparatus designed and planned to find a solution to the problem of healing and scenting rubbish bins.
Said apparatus emits vaporization of healing and/or scenting product at predetermined intervals, by means of an electronic circuit, in order to create a layer of healing and/or scenting product between a rubbish clearing and another, by the user of the container.
It presents two ignition variances.
The electronic circuit with its relative components is programmed to carry out two types of functions. In the first case, the apparatus begins to work when t' s hitched, by means of an electronic sensor, to the vehicle that is emptying. This sensor stimulates the electronic part that, through a prefixed timer, permits the vaporization of the product at predetermined intervals. In the second case, the apparatus is activated by means of a manual switch and a button, which permit also a general check on the apparatus functioning, once it is recharged and reset. Then it begins to work as in the first case .
This system works thanks to an electric suction pump that takes the healing and/or scenting product from a tank placed in the same container of the apparatus. By means of a hose-pipe, preferably having a non-return valve at its half length to avoid the product escapes when not in use, the electric pump propels the product towards a nozzle that emits a 360° vaporization of about . pressure bar. Everything is controlled by an electronic card powered by a dry rechargeable battery. This battery is chosen on the basis of the operation time of the system that is connected in its turn to the amount of vaporization to be emitted. Anyway this battery should last at least 10 days, considering 10/12 vaporization issues per day. The apparatus is composed by a container that may be realized with different materials - PVC, glass fibre, galvanized sheet iron -, a dry rechargeable battery, an electronic card; a hosepipe with internal hole; a non-return valve to avoid the product escapes in the absence of pressure inside the pipe; an electric pump for liquids; at least one tank, of variable capacity, to contain the healing and/or scenting liquid. A system for healing and/or scenting rubbish bins and the relative apparatus according to the invention, comprises: means to contain healing and/or scenting substances, with one or more tanks (1, 1A) equipped with a specific entrance hole (3, 3A) where the substance is poured; - means to take these substances from each tank, with one or more electric pumps (2, 2A) for liquids, connected to the tank(s); this pump takes the product through a pipe that contains a non-return valve and is put into the tank as well as connected to the pump; - means to vaporize the healing and/or scenting product, with the said pump, which propels the product towards a nozzle (13, 13A) that emits the vaporization; means to program the phases of the vaporization at predetermined intervals, with an electric circuit that controls the apparatus functioning; means to power the circuit, with a lead rechargeable battery.
Conveniently, the apparatus is directly applied to the rubbish b n either permanently or temporarily.
Conveniently, the apparatus sets m motion through either a manual button or an electronic sensor that is activated during the manoeuvre of hitching to the vehicle that is emptying.
Conveniently, once activated, the apparatus is programmed in such a way as to provide at least the following phases: start of the timer for a first pump connected to a first tank, and issue of the vaporized product at the fixed time; - start of the timer for a second pump connected to a second tank, and issue of the vaporized product in a later moment; repetition of this cycle as many times as the number of tanks and pumps used, at the prefixed intervals. Conveniently, the apparatus comprises a thermal sensor (15) through which the card registers the external temperature and vary the interval of the product issue according to the increase or decrease of the temperature.
Conveniently, the apparatus comprises two tanks controlled by two pumps, one (1) of which is set to contain disinfectant substances and the other (1A) is set to contain deodorant substances, so that, at first, an enzyme product is vaporized at the base of the container, avoiding the diffusion of smells, and successively, the deodorant substance is vaporized, at regular intervals .
Conveniently, each pump (2, 2A) takes from its flow (22, 22A) the product contained into the tanks and propels it, through its delivery (23, 23A) , towards pipes (11, 11A) of different length that are connected to a device containing the nozzles (13, 13A) through which the substance is sprayed outside. Brief description of drawings
The attached drawings are practical examples of the invention, but are not to be considered restrictive.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic drawing of the essential elements of an apparatus implementing this system. In the depicted example, t is composed by two tanks (1, 1A) containing enzymes, disinfectants and/or deodorants that are put into the tanks through their tops (3, 3A) . These tanks have a hole (4, 4A) connected to the flow (22, 22A) of the pump (2,
2A) that takes the liquid they contained and pushes it, through its delivery (23, 23A) , towards connecting pipes
(11, 11A) . These pipes reach a support (12) containing the nozzles (13, 13A) set to spray the substance. Said apparatus is controlled by a technical card placed into a t n box (10) from which six cables come out: the first couple (7, 8) reaches the battery (9), the second one (5, 6) reaches the first pump (2), while the third one (5A, 6A) reaches the second pump (2A) .
- F g. 2 shows a block diagram of the circuit controlling the apparatus. It is constituted by a micro-controller (14) connected to a power un t (18) and consequently to the battery (19). Said micro-controller (14) is connected to the temperature sensor (15) and to the turning sensor (16): the former activates the system according to the registered temperature, the latter activates the system whenever the bin is turned out. Said micro-controller is connected also to a low battery indicator (17), to an implementing tool (20, 20A) for each pump (1, 1A) , as well as to the pumps' test circuit (21) .
