Claims (4)

  1. A device for clamping a hydraulic hose on a hose fitting with a press which comprises press jaws (20) mounted for displacement radially to a centring axis (19) in a frame (1), and a wedge gear (21) for the press jaws (20), said gear being adapted to be subjected, via a press drive (12), to a press stroke perpendicular to the centring axis (19), the frame (1) being divided, in the region of the centring axis (19), transversely to the press stroke, into two parts (4, 7) which are guided for displacement relatively to one another in the direction of the press stroke and which each carry a part of the divided wedge gear (21) with the associated press jaws (20), characterised in that one of the two frame parts (4, 7) accommodates the press drive (12) and in that the frame parts (4, 7), which are displaceable relatively to one another via an actuating drive (9), are lockable relatively to one another in the closed position of the frame (1).
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the two frame parts (4, 7) are mounted in a guide frame (2) so as to be movable in opposite directions.
  3. A device according to claim 2, characterised in that one frame part (7) is guided for displacement on the other frame part (4) mounted in the guide frame (2) and is driveable with the respectively doubled adjustment path.
  4. A device according to claim 3, characterised in that at least one gearwheel (16) is mounted rotatably in the guide frame (2) and meshes, on diametrically opposite sides, with two racks, (17, 18) each associated with one frame part (4, 7) and disposed parallel to the direction of displacement of the frame parts (4, 7).
