Definitions
- the invention relates to the field of fasteners intended for retain a shoe on a sliding or rolling machine, such as than skiing, snowboarding, roller skating, or whatever.
- each link can be opened or closed.
- the length of the link can be adjusted.
- a link typically has two bands attached each on one side of the binding, as well as a device for clamping the link. Manual action on a device button allows opening the link.
- Closing the link requires the user to adjust the position of a strip relative to the clamping device, then to introduce the strip into the device, and then to reduce the length of the link, in particular using a lever drive band located on the device. For this do it usually needs to bend the body and limbs lower, and use both hands.
- Closing the link is therefore a painful process which makes waste time for the user.
- the object of the invention is in particular to make it easy and quick the fitting of a binding provided with ties.
- a binding intended to retain a shoe on a sliding or rolling machine comprises a first lateral flange, a second lateral flange, and at minus a link connecting the first flange to the second flange, the link comprising a first strip which extends from attachment end to a free end, the end of attachment being attached to the first flange, the link comprising another clamping device attached to the second flange, the clamping device to adjust the length of the link retaining a portion of the first strip removably.
- the binding according to the invention is characterized by the fact that a stopper is attached to the first strip towards the end free of the strip, so as to be on the other side of the clamping device relative to the attachment end of the strip, thereby preventing separation of the first strip and of the clamping device.
- a binding 1 holds a shoe 2 on a board 3.
- the fastening 1 comprises a base 4 on which are reported a first lateral flange 5 and a second lateral flange 6, the flanges 5, 6 being connected by a hoop 7.
- the base 4 extends, in a longitudinal direction L of attachment 1, between a front end 8 and an end rear 9 of the base.
- the attachment 1 to the board 3 is secured by means represented in the form of a disc 10.
- Attachment 1 also includes a front link 13 and a link rear 14, each shown in a position for retaining the shoe 2 in figure 1.
- the link before 13 notably includes a first strip 15, a second strip 16, and a device for tightening 17 for adjusting the length of the link.
- the first strip 15 is attached to the first flange 5, by a means shown in the form of an axis hinge 18.
- the second strip 16 is attached to the second flange 6, by a means represented in the form of a axis joint 19.
- the connection of the first 15 to the second 16 band is done by the clamping device 17, which for this purpose comprises including a drive lever 20 and a button release 21 of the first strip 15.
- the lever 20 and the button 21 allow the length of the link 13 to be adjusted by moving a band compared to each other.
- the front link 13 is shown schematically in the Figure 2, in top view, in a case where its length is scaled down. This means that the first 15 and second 16 strips are superimposed over a fairly long distance.
- the first strip 15 extends between an attachment end 22 and a free end 23.
- An orifice 24, formed in the attachment end 22, allows the passage of a means attachment such as a rivet to achieve the axis joint 18.
- the second strip 16 extends between a attachment end 25 and a free end 26.
- An orifice 27, formed in the attachment end 25, allows passage a fastening means such as a rivet to achieve the axis joint 19.
- Figure 3 discloses the internal structure of the link 13.
- the first strip 15 is produced in the form of a rack, whose teeth 28 and core 29 form preferably a single piece.
- the clamping device 17 has a passage 30 for guide the strip 15.
- the corridor 30 is formed in particular by two wings 31, 32 connected by a bridge 33.
- a pawl 34 is articulated between the wings along an axis 35.
- the pawl 34 has a retaining end 36 provided to oppose an elongation link 13, and one end forming the release button 21.
- the end 36 is permanently stressed towards the bridge 33, by an elastic means not shown such as a spring.
- the drive lever 20 is articulated between the wings 31, 32 along an axis 37. It has at least one tooth 38 for drive the first strip 15 in a shortening direction of link 13.
- An elastic means not shown such as a spring, permanently requests the lever 20 so that the teeth 38 move away from bridge 33.
- the clamping device 17 is fixed to the second strip 16 for example using a pin 39 rivet.
- a stop 40 is fixed to the first strip 15, so as to allow an extension of the link to a length maximum, and to prevent separation of the first band 15 and of the clamping device 17.
- the stop 40 is fixed to the free end 23 of the strip 15, for example by an interlocking of the strip 15 in a notch 41 of the stop 40, combined with a means of retainer represented in the form of a rivet 42 which crosses the strip 15 and notch 41.
- stop 40 is guided along the second strip 16, by a guide means shown in the form a screw 43 which passes through a longitudinal slot 44 of the second strip 16.
- the screw 43 is screwed into the stop 40.
- the screw 43 has a head whose diameter is greater than the width of the slot 44.
- the stop 40 cannot pass in the corridor 30, because its width is greater than the distance between the wings 31, 32. As a result, the bands cannot separate.
- Each of the links 13, 14 is extended by manual action of the user, so as to leave a space between the shoe and the link. When each space is large enough, the shoe can be removed from the binding. Since the straps of the links are articulated on the flanges 5, 6 of the attachment 1, it is possible to tilt the links 13, 14 towards the front of the binding. In the case of the link before 13, the tilting is done by rotation along axes 18, 19. After tilting, the links are contained substantially in a plane parallel to the base 4.
- each of the front links 13 and rear 14 is such that when tilted forward the binding 1, it bypasses the front end of the shoe 2 if it is in place on the base 4 and in contact with the roll bar 7.
- the link before 13 can have a length maximum between 25 and 50 cm, and the rear link 14 have a maximum length between 45 and 85 cm.
- a stop 60 is fixed to the first strip 61 of a link to the free end 62 of the strip 61.
- the stop 60 and the first strip 61 are shown in the form of a single piece.
- the attachment, from the stopper 60 to the strip 61, is an expression wide which means that the stopper and the strip are integral one from the other.
- the stop 60 projects from a face 63 of the bandaged.
- the stop 60 is shown in the form of a wedge whose a face 64, substantially perpendicular to the face 63, is turned towards the rack 65 of the strip 61.
- the face 64 takes press the ratchet to avoid opening the link, because the face 64 is higher than the teeth of rack 65.
- the strip 61 preferably has a longitudinal slot 66.
- a stop 70 is fixed to the first strip 71 of a link to the free end 72 of the strip 71.
- the stop 70 and the first strip 71 are shown in the form of a single piece.
- the stop 70 has the shape of an arrowhead which includes two lateral teeth 73, 74 separated in part at least by one slot 75.
- the teeth 73, 74 prevent opening of the link by taking support on the wings of the clamping device.
- the slot 75 allows a bringing together of the teeth 73, 74, under the action of an external force, for mounting or dismantling of the link.
- the strip 71 preferably has a longitudinal slot 77.
- the stop 40 could be achieved otherwise.
- the stopper is produced in the form of a loop 45 fixed to the free end 46 of a first strip 47.
- the passer-by is wide enough to play its role as a stopper, but it at the same time allows the free end to be guided along of a second strip 48 of the rear link 14.
- the second strip 48 has a continuous width.
- the clamping device of the first strip could have a different structure. Additional layers may be added to the link, in particular to provide protection or comfort of use.
- a link might include only one band and a clamping device.
- the clamping device is attached directly to a flange of the binding.
- a link could include more than two bands.
- the attachment may not include the base, flanges being in this case directly secured to the board.
- binding according to the invention can be used in other fields such as skiing, snowshoeing on snow, or whatever.
