Abstract

The invention relates to a container for mailing items in a sorting device for controlled distribution of a flat mailing item into non-moveable sorting containers. The inventive container comprises a rigidly mounted wall section and a wall section that is moveably mounted at the front in the direction of conveyance, inclined in the opposite direction to the direction of conveyance and provided with a sliding component. The sliding component can vibrate fully or partially, whereby the front parts of the mailing items are given momentum when they slide out as a result of the vibration of the sliding component that is caused by the opening of the moveable wall, thereby preventing torque that is created by gravity and causes short items to topple over. The duration of the vibration is at least long enough for the appropriate short item to leave the sliding component before the next vibration movement is directed at the mail items.

Description

Beschreibungdescription
Umlaufender Sendungsbehälter einer SortiereinrichtungAll-round mailing container of a sorting device
The invention relates to a rotating mail container according to the preamble of claim 1.
Dadurch ist eine definierte ausgerichtete Lage dieser Sendungen im Sortierbehälter, bei der beispielsweise die Adreßseite stets oben ist, nicht gewährleistet .Sorting devices are known in which each consignment to be sorted is transported into a revolving, open consignment container after being separated and after reading the distribution information (DE 43 23 564 AI). The consignment containers lined up run over one another, immobile sorting containers. Each sorting bin is assigned a specific distribution information. The shipment container in question is opened above the sorting container assigned to the determined distribution information (for example recipient address) during transport and the respective shipment reaches the sorting container by gravity. The transport speed of the consignment containers and the sliding speed of the consignments are coordinated with one another in such a way that the consignments sink almost vertically into the sorting container in a lying position. It is necessary that the items come to rest in the sorting containers with a defined orientation, for example with the distribution information upwards. The consignment containers each consist of a fixed and a movable wall part which can be pivoted about an axis of rotation oriented transversely to the transport direction. An unlockable closing part keeps the wall parts closed at the bottom. If the consignment container is above the sorting container into which the consignment is to be emptied, the closing part of the consignment container is unlocked via a release mechanism and the movable wall part folds down. This creates a slot through which the shipment slides down the movable wall part into the sorting container. In order to make it easier to slide out, the movable wall part has an adjoining slot, counter to the trans- port direction of the shipment container inclined slide part. Nevertheless, there is still a more or less large stretch of free fall of the items before they come to a standstill. It turned out that the short programs tip down when leaving the slide section and roll over during the fall. As a result, a defined, aligned position of these mail items in the sorting container, in which, for example, the address side is always at the top, is not guaranteed.
The object of the invention specified in claim 1 is therefore to provide a rotating mailing container for receiving, transporting and for the controlled delivery of a flat mailing during transport down into immovable sorting containers or compartments, with a fixed and a movable one with a slide part To create a wall part, the design of which largely prevents the short items from flipping over when falling into the sorting containers or compartments.
The vibration of the at least partially vibratable slide part triggered by the sudden opening of the movable wall part and the choice of the oscillation duration has the consequence that, as long as the focus of the program is still on the slide part, the programs receive an impulse in their front part which is due to gravity counteracts generated torque in short programs after their center of gravity has left the slide part. The period of oscillation is selected so that the next oscillatory movement directed against the mail item only takes place when the respective short mail item has completely left the slide part. This prevents the broadcasts from rolling over, causing them to roll over. With longer and relatively heavy shipments, this effect increasingly disappears, because firstly the center of gravity is not yet outside the slide part and thus the front part can only be bent up, and the next vibration then gives off an impulse exercises the rear part of the program in the direction of movement, but due to the higher mass of the program it has no noticeable effects on the uncritical sinking behavior of the longer program, in contrast to the short programs.
According to claim 2, it is advantageous to carry out the slide part to realize the vibration ability entirely or partially of elastic material.
In a further advantageous embodiment according to claim 3, the ability to vibrate is realized in that the rigid slide part or a part thereof is attached to a hinge.
Vorteilhaft nach Anspruch 4 ist es, die Wandteile und dasIt is advantageous according to claim 4, the wall parts and that
Execute slide part with longitudinal ribs in order to achieve a better sliding out of the mail items when the mail item container is open.
Dabei zeigtThe invention is then explained in more detail in an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing. It shows
FIG 1 eine schematische Darstellung des Bewegungsablaufes der Sendungen aus einem bewegten Sendungsbehälter mit starrem Rutschenteil in einen Sortierbehälter gemäß Stand der Technik,1 shows a schematic representation of the movement sequence of the mail items from a moving mail item container with a rigid slide part into a sorting container according to the prior art,
FIG 2 eine schematische Darstellung des Bewegungsablaufes der Sendungen aus einem bewegten Sendungsbehälter mit zusätzlichem elastischem Rutschenteil in einen Sortierbehälter.2 shows a schematic representation of the movement sequence of the mail items from a moving mail item container with an additional elastic slide part into a sorting container.
DieThe process according to the prior art is briefly explained again schematically in FIG. The shipment container is not shown in its entirety. Only the one in the transport direction of the consignment container is shown here marked the arrow) located at the front, movably arranged and inclined against the transport direction wall part 1 with a rigid slide part in the open state. The position of the short broadcast 2 leaving the transport container is shown at different times. The
Transport containers move to the right in the direction of the arrow and the consignment 2 slides downward on the open movable wall part 1 with the subsequent rigid slide part, in the drawing no distinction is made between the two. The movements are coordinated so that the consignment sinks almost vertically down into the sorting container 3. If the consignment 2 is located on the outer edge of the slide part and its center of gravity s is already outside the slide part at a distance a from the edge of the slide part, gravity exerts a torque M on the consignment 2 over this distance, as shown a rollover when lowering into the sorting container 3 results.
Die Dimensionierung, Auswahl der Materialeigen-, schaffen wird so festgelegt, daß eine kurze Sendung 2, die gerade das elastische Rutschenteil 4 verläßt, und deren2 also schematically shows the sequence of movements of the short shipment from the shipment container into the sorting container, but an elastic slide part 4 was also attached to the rigid slide part, the deflection movements of which are shown in dashed lines. Of course, it is also possible to design the entire slide part with elastic material or to attach a rigid part to a hinge so that it can vibrate. The design chosen depends on the specific conditions, such as the spectrum of the shipment, the speed of transport, the speed and direction of the glide, and the properties of the elastic material. If the mail item container is opened at a designated point by unlocking the movable wall part 1, the elastic slide part 4 starts to vibrate. The dimensioning, selection of the material's own, create is determined so that a short shipment 2, which just leaves the elastic slide part 4, and their
Center of gravity s is still on the slide part, receives an impulse at a distance b from the center of gravity, which beat short broadcasts counteracting torque generated by gravity. The period of oscillation is selected so that the next oscillating movement directed in the direction of the mail item does not occur until the respective short mail item 2 has completely left the elastic slide part 4. This prevents a pulse in the direction of the torque generated by the force of gravity, which causes a rollover. On the other hand, the vibration properties of the elastic slide part 4 were determined so that the momentum coming from the slide part 4 does not produce a torque causing a rollover in the opposite direction. The position of the mail container with the movable wall part 1 and the slide part 4 in FIG. 2 relates only to the point in time at which the moving mail item 2 receives the impulse from the elastic slide part 4. At the further times of the falling shipment 2, the shipment container moved further in the direction of the arrow.
