Description

The present invention relates to an apparatus for filtering radio telephones in specific spaces, and as a variant, for locating them.
.Dans d'autres endroits, leur utilisation est interdites: prisons, salles d'examen, ...The number of radiotelephones makes their ringing or their use troublesome in certain places: performance halls, cinemas, restaurants, libraries, dormitories, ... In other places, their use is prohibited: prisons, examination rooms,. ..
The different categories of means have already been described in patents FR 9707000, FR 9710105 and WO 98/56130.
Les solutions qui peuvent être légalement acceptées doivent respecter certaines contraintes:Solutions that can be legally accepted must respect certain constraints:
- laisser passer les appels d'urgence, - laisser passer certains abonnements prioritaires- let emergency calls through, - let through certain priority subscriptions
( médecins, pompiers, police, ...),(doctors, firefighters, police, ...),
- être identifiés et autorisés ...- be identified and authorized ...
Jammer solutions that do not meet these constraints may be banned in most countries. Several variants described in the above patents respect these constraints.
The purpose of this patent is to detail a category of variants of radiotelephone filters:
- filtres ayant pour but de modifier les signaux entre les stations de base et les radiotéléphones, dans le but de faire fonctionner les radiotéléphones dans un mode de service restreint en utilisant des classes d'utilisateurs, et cela, selon 2 types de moyens:- filters intended to modify the signals between the base stations and the radiotelephones, with the aim of operating the radiotelephones in a restricted mode of service by using classes of users, and this, according to 2 types of means:
Leur implantation comportera 2 particularités:These principles are applicable to the various digital radiotelephony systems (GSM, UMTS, ...). The first variant uses micro base stations with their usual technology and integrated into the radiotelephony system (1 cell per station). The present variant of the invention uses these micro-stations not in normal service but for the purpose of filtering the radiotelephones of a given place. For this, these micro-stations must be used with radio coverage means that are very selective in volume, so as to more precisely cover the place to be protected. These micro-stations, controlled by the overall system, and identified as filtering stations can allow filtering at the higher level (subscriber file ...) or manage the radiotelephones present in permanent restricted mode using the subscriber classes . Their unconventional use allows them to fulfill the role of filter instead of having the aim of increasing the coverage of the whole. Their establishment will include 2 particularities:
- puissance supérieure à celles des autres stations environnantes, de façon à capter les mobiles présents.- higher power than those of other surrounding stations, so as to pick up the mobiles present.
- moyens radio de couverture très sélectifs de façon à couvrir uniquement le lieu à filtrer: antennes directives en angle, câbles rayonnants, capteurs répartis,- very selective radio coverage means so as to cover only the place to be filtered: directional antennas at an angle, radiating cables, distributed sensors,
L'appareil est constitué :The second variant consists of repeater of the signals of the base stations by modifying them. The device consists of:
- d'une antenne de réception des signaux des stations de base active dans le lieu à surveiller,- an antenna for receiving signals from base stations active in the location to be monitored,
This re-emission must be selective for a single destination of the place to be protected, using the radio means already described above. The retransmission must be of the same frequencies as those of base stations and modified to cause the switchover of radio telephones present in restricted mode. The modification concerns, for example, the BCCH for GSM, issued by the station and allowing the mobile to lock onto the most powerful station.
The use of the categories of users existing in the GSM standard allows the selectivity of the filtering.
The radiotelephones remain connected on the frequencies of the normal base stations of the network, which allows authorized communications.
This method does not modify the assignment of the mobile to a station and allows its location in the cell. This repeater can, as a variant, have a link module with the base stations, which allows the latter to control the repeater (activation or deactivation, etc.) or the repeater to signal the filtering operation to the station. transmitter.
The identity of the mobile can be retrieved to be transmitted by transmitting a call signal to the mobile and thus by causing its transmission to the repeater or the station.
The repetition of the signals concerns the different operators, on the other hand, the control can be carried out by a main operator. In this case, the identification of the repeater can be carried out by a SIM card (or equivalent). The modification of the repeated signals can relate to other parts of the signals and allow other functionalities, according to the standards of the mobiles. Ordering mobiles can allow, for example, an adaptation of prices depending on the location. The major part of the components of this repeater can be of the same nature as those used by mobiles with or without the use of one or more SIM cards.
La présente invention permet le filtrage d'un lieu donné, tout en laissant passer les appels d'urgence et certaines catégories d'abonnés.FIG. 1 represents a base station F assigned to a room to be filtered L situated in a larger cell C. The filter micro-station F transmits at a higher power and thus controls the mobiles present thanks to its radio selective means S. FIG. 2 represents a repeater F which amplifies the signals of the transmitters E by modifying them to switch the mobiles present in restricted service in a place L. The initial signal a is repeated after modification in b. The present invention allows filtering of a given location, while letting through emergency calls and certain categories of subscribers.
In the appendix, it allows the location of mobiles for various operations: invoicing according to location for example.
