Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Versorgungssystem zum Liefern eines Versorgungsmediums, wie Strom, Fernwärme, Gas oder Wasser an mindestens einen Endverbraucher und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben desselben, mit mindestens einem Übertragungsnetz (12) und mindestens einem Verteilnetz, wobei mindestens ein Verteilnetzbetreiber von einem Erzeuger (10), über das Übertragungsnetz das Versorgungsmedium bezieht und über das Verteilnetz (16) sowie einen Grundzähler (20) und/oder ein Zusatzgerät an Endverbraucher liefert. Hierbei erwirbt der Endverbraucher (18) eine vorbestimmte Menge an Versorgungsmedium in einem Ladengeschäft und erhalt im Gegenzug einen Berechtigungsschlüssel, der in den Grundzähler (20) und/oder ein Zusatzgerät des Endverbrauchers geladen wird, wobei dieser Berechtigungsschlüssel vom Grundzähler (20) und/oder ein Zusatzgerät derart ausgewertet wird, daß auf der Grundlage des Berechtigungsschlüssel eine vom Grundzähler (20) und/oder ein Zusatzgerät gezählte Menge an Versorgungsmedium dem Verteilnetzbetreiber (14) oder einem Anbieter, insbesondere einem Drittanbieter, als Lieferanten zugeschlagen wird.
