Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for converting the mains voltage into a lower voltage, wherein said device comprises a first connector which can be inserted in a mains plug, a second connector which can be inserted in a load as well as a voltage conversion circuit essentially provided between the two connectors. In the device of the present invention, the circuit forms together with the second connector (2) a rigid unit which reduces to a minimum both the electric resistance and the electric connection between said circuit and said second connector (2). Im bekannten Fall wird der Ein/Ausschalter häufig nicht benutzt, weil sich die Spannungsumwandlungsvorrichtung an schwer zugänglicher bzw. nicht ohne weiteres sichtbarer Stelle, nämlich entfernt vom Verbraucher, befindet. Man läßt also den Verbraucher häufig eingeschaltet und verbraucht damit nutzlos Energie, oder es wird in primitiver Weise der Netzstecker herausgezogen.
