Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for dispensing liquefied gas as a liquid phase from a source having a gas-liquid mixing phase Contains medium, as well as a device for performing the method.
It is used for the controlled delivery of liquefied gas for many technical applications required to be able to dose the amount with high accuracy, and even with discontinuous dispensing of the liquid, the required dosing accuracy to adhere to. The dosing accuracy is significantly influenced by whether it is to be dosed Medium is completely in the liquid phase, or whether, for example, by a Change of prevailing pressure or available volume of a part the liquid evaporates and thus a gas-liquid mixing phase in the dosing Medium occurs.
The gas-liquid mixing phase leads to many technically used dosing systems to some considerable dosing errors and in many cases leaves a continuous Delivery of the medium does not increase as the liquid flow through volumes that Contains gas, is disturbed and may tear off. To disruption of the tax and To avoid dosing, various methods are used, either Tolerate large losses of medium or require a lot of equipment.
The most lossy process is the draining of gaseous medium from the plant. This process is not harmless for substances that are harmful to the environment or are very expensive, not applicable. It also uses this procedure only an incomplete separation of the gaseous phase is achieved.
Other methods for the controlled separation of gaseous components from a Liquid, such as the process disclosed in EP 0 271 031, lead to an almost complete separation of the gas and liquid phases. In the The device described in EP 0 271 031 has a fleece-like, porous material, by which the gaseous components are separated from the liquid. The levy of liquefied gas as a liquid phase is made possible in this way. Kick it however, losses due to the separated portion for an intended application is not available to a consumer. These systemic losses can become disadvantageous, depending on the medium used and its price affect the profitability of a process with integrated LPG application.
In order to avoid losses, it is often suggested that the gas become To liquefy part of the medium again. The procedures used for this are however, it is very expensive in terms of equipment and is not suitable for cost-effective provision and metered delivery of a liquefied gas as a liquid phase, in particular not if they are used to provide accurate dosage and possibly discontinuous Dispensing of small amounts of liquefied gas can be used. The apparative Effort and thus the system costs allow these to be operated economically Facilities with a small amount of liquefied gas generally do not.
The present invention has for its object a method and an apparatus for the economical and low-loss provision and delivery of a dosed amount of liquefied gas is available as a liquid phase with high accuracy to provide, the high accuracy of the dosage, especially at discontinuous delivery of small amounts of liquefied gas is ensured.
This object is achieved on the procedural side in that the Medium is passed through a condensation vessel in which gaseous Portions of the medium are transferred to the liquid phase.
It is advantageous to convert the gaseous fraction into the liquid phase the condenser is cooled. The heat dissipation can, for example, by a conventional cooling unit, through the evaporation of liquefied gases, or preferably done by a Peltier element. The temperature is set so that the gaseous components condense inside the vessel.
It also proves to be advantageous to use the cooling of the condensation vessel of a cooling medium flowing on the outer shell of the vessel.
It is recommended, especially for the treatment of small amounts of medium, that Cooling the cooling medium via a Peltier element using a heat exchanger.
The use of air as a cooling medium proves to be both technical and from an economic point of view, as particularly advantageous.
The specified method is particularly suitable for dispensing small amounts of liquefied gas. The method is intended in particular for the emission of CO 2 .
The invention is particularly applicable to media under a prevailing Pressure in the range from 10 to 80 bar, particularly preferably in the range from 64 up to 67 bar.
In addition, the invention is particularly suitable for dispensing liquefied Gas with a liquid gas mass flow of 0.1 to 2.0 kg / mm, particularly preferred in the range from 0.1 to 1.0 kg / min.
In addition to the application for providing a liquid phase for consumers, the invention can also be used in the field of suction pressure stabilization of high-pressure CO 2 pumps.
To carry out the method is a device for dispensing liquefied Gas provided, with a discharge point for the liquefied gas with a source in Connection is established, which is a gas-liquid mixed phase medium contains.
On the device side, the task is solved in that between the source and a condensation vessel is interposed in the delivery point, in the gaseous one Portions of the medium are transferred to the liquid phase.
The walls of the condensation vessel are expediently designed to be cooled. A cooling chamber is recommended for cooling the walls of the condensation vessel to provide for a cooling medium that surrounds the condensation vessel.
According to a further development of the inventive concept for cooling the cooling medium at least one heat exchanger is provided, in which the heat dissipation via a Peltier element is ensured that is between the cooling area and the warm area of the heat exchanger is integrated. The cooling area of the heat exchanger is inside, the warm area of the heat exchanger outside described cooling chamber.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention is a condensation vessel a compressed gas bottle, in particular a small gas bottle, is provided. The use of such standard components contributes to the economy to increase the device.
The condensation vessel is expediently located in a cooling chamber insulated cylinder installed. especially when using a compressed gas cylinder a cylindrical cooling chamber enables a condensation vessel good flow of cooling medium around the condensation vessel, for example with air.
Das Kondensationsgefäß ist mit einem Steigrohr ausgestattetIt proves to be advantageous to pass the medium into the interior of the condensation vessel via a riser pipe feed. The condensation vessel is with a riser pipe fitted
It proves expedient to have a tapping point on the condensation vessel to be provided from which the liquefied medium is removed.
Another possibility is, depending on the spatial orientation of the condensation vessel the riser pipe for liquid extraction and the supply of the medium about the facility mentioned in the previous tapping point.
Dabei bietet die Erfindung eine ganze Reihe von Vorteilen: The invention provides an economical and low-loss method of providing and dispensing an amount of liquefied gas dosed with high accuracy as Liquid phase provided, especially for discontinuous delivery small, defined amounts of liquefied gas. The invention offers one whole range of advantages:
In contrast to conventionally used methods, the invention makes one Little equipment in terms of equipment, compact to build to provide a Liquid phase provided. A liquefaction device according to the invention enables a secure, reproducible liquid gas mass flow, their dosing with high accuracy even when dispensing small and very small quantities can be made. Dosing errors are caused by the invention Method safely avoided, even with a low throughput of liquefied Gas. In addition, the invention offers good conditions for integrating the Gas-liquid application in connection with a machine time sequence control.
