Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un processeur de transactions commerciales sur Internet qui possède une architecture de traitement répartie permettant la répartition d'une charge de traitement sur de multiples serveurs en parallèle. Le processeur de transactions de cette invention fournit une vitrine de magasin virtuel qui met en oeuvre une approche du type 'utilisation d'entrepôts gérés par d'autres personnes' au moyen d'un système de traitement dynamique de sélection des distributeurs conçu pour effectuer une sélection parmi une pluralité de distributeurs en fonction d'un algorithme fondé sur des règles souples. En outre, un système de traitement multi-niveau de vérification des fraudes permet le traitement de commandes qui seraient normalement rejetées de manière à assurer un meilleur rendement de l'activité commerciale.
