Abstract

An electro-power impact cell (20) used in blasting works includes a first electrode to which a high voltage is applied, the first electrode (30) having a plurality of conductive piece (37,38,39,40) between which nonconductive pieces (33,34,35,36) are disposed so that when the high voltage is applied to the first electrode, arc occur at the nonconductive piece; a second electrode (31) spaced away from the first electrode (30); and a closed-cartridge enclosing the first and second electrodes while containing electrolyte.
