Definitions
- skateboard is a device that is very limited as far as features referring to its directionality and control are concerned.

- the attachment of the sail to the board of the skateboard will be effected in a hole which is a screw-in fitting that is placed transversally, in other words, perpendicularly, to the board in front of the set of front wheels.
- the complementary element planned for this purpose in the lower end of the sail is fixed in this screw-in fitting.
- the position of the sail in front of the two axles bearing the wheels of the skateboard will allow the user or skateboarder to have a steering position that will make it possible to control and force the turn to the limit of the skateboard's turn capacity.
- Figure 2. Shows a lateral elevation view of the same skateboard shown in the previous figure, also without the sail.
- Figure 3. Shows a general perspective of the skateboard with the sail correctly assembled on it.
- This board (1) with the pairs of wheels (2) and (2') is supplied with a sail (3) assembled in the front area, to be precise in front of the axle where wheels (2) are located.
- This assembly is carried out by means of the attachment of a topped pin in the shape of a cross-head (5), found in the lower part of the sail (3), which is inserted in a screw-in fitting (4) correctly fixed in a transversal or vertical hole of the board (1) of the skateboard.
- the sail (3) is thus assembled so that the user or skateboarder positioned on the board (1) can move it with the hand hold (6) that this type of sail (3) normally has. All of this means that the different positions of this sail (3) provide for the directionality and control of the movement of the skateboard over the ground.

Abstract
Description
- The invention refers to a wind drawn skateboard planned to move over the ground in a directed and controlled manner by the effect of the wind, due to the fact that the board of the skateboard is supplied with a sail located above the board and in a front area, specifically in front of the pair of front wheels.
- It is an object of the invention to provide a skateboard of considerable length so that it becomes a moveable vehicle over the ground by attaching a sail to it, and whose movement can be directed and controlled by appropriate movements made by the skateboarder with the sail.
- Skateboards are moveable devices that are generally made of a board that has some transverse axles in the under part of the board. At the end of each axle there are free rotating wheels. All of this means that the movement of the skateboard over the ground is effected by thrusts made by the skateboarder himself.
- Although there are users who are excellent at skateboarding, it is obvious that controlling and directing the skateboard is almost impossible as the two axles of the wheels are static, and the user-skateboarder has to make movements to lift the front part slightly and lean his body at the same time in order to partly manage to change the direction of the skateboard's movement.
- All in all, the skateboard is a device that is very limited as far as features referring to its directionality and control are concerned.
- The skateboard that is advocated, being based on a board with a pair of axles with wheels at the ends, has the special feature that the length of the board is greater than that of conventional skateboards and the axles of the wheels are located near the front and rear end.
- Moreover, the skateboard includes a sail of the type used in windsurfing, with which it is possible to direct and control the movement of the skateboard over the ground. All this is possible by means of the user or skateboarder operating this sail by standing on the board of the skateboard supported by his feet.
- The attachment of the sail to the board of the skateboard will be effected in a hole which is a screw-in fitting that is placed transversally, in other words, perpendicularly, to the board in front of the set of front wheels. The complementary element planned for this purpose in the lower end of the sail is fixed in this screw-in fitting.
- In this way a moveable skateboard is obtained whose movement is effected by the force of the wind which the user can use to direct and control the skateboard.
- The position of the sail in front of the two axles bearing the wheels of the skateboard will allow the user or skateboarder to have a steering position that will make it possible to control and force the turn to the limit of the skateboard's turn capacity.
- In order to supplement the description that is being made and with the aim of making a better understanding of the invention's features possible, as a preferable example of practical embodiment of the invention, a set of drawings for non-limiting and illustrative purposes is attached as part of this description where the following has been shown.
- Figure 1.-Shows an upper plan view of the skateboard, which is the subject of the invention, without the sail.
- Figure 2.-Shows a lateral elevation view of the same skateboard shown in the previous figure, also without the sail.
- Figure 3.-Shows a general perspective of the skateboard with the sail correctly assembled on it.
- As can be seen in the figures referred to, the skateboard of the invention is made of an elongated board, or what amounts to the same, a very long board, more flattened at the front than at the back, which includes a pair of transversal axles bearing their respective wheels (2) and (2'), the former belonging to the front part, while wheels (2') belong to the rear part.
- This board (1) with the pairs of wheels (2) and (2') is supplied with a sail (3) assembled in the front area, to be precise in front of the axle where wheels (2) are located. This assembly is carried out by means of the attachment of a topped pin in the shape of a cross-head (5), found in the lower part of the sail (3), which is inserted in a screw-in fitting (4) correctly fixed in a transversal or vertical hole of the board (1) of the skateboard. The sail (3) is thus assembled so that the user or skateboarder positioned on the board (1) can move it with the hand hold (6) that this type of sail (3) normally has. All of this means that the different positions of this sail (3) provide for the directionality and control of the movement of the skateboard over the ground.
- It is obvious that the stronger the intensity of the wind is, the greater the speed of the skateboard's movement will be.
- It will be used in places that are wide open spaces where the surface or ground is flat and duly compact, such as a track specifically for this purpose, a road network in a city, etc.
- It is not considered necessary to make this specification more extensive so that any expert in the subject understands the scope of the invention and the advantages that result from it.
- The materials, shape, size and position of the elements will be subject to variation as long as this does not mean the essence of the invention is altered.
- The terms under which this specification has been drawn up must always be understood in a broad and non-limiting sense.
Claims (2)
- Wind drawn skateboard, which, being formed of a board with two pairs of wheels each mounted on transversal axles, is essentially characterized by the fact that the board is very long and the axles corresponding to the wheels are both placed near the front end and near the rear end; with the special characteristic that a sail is assembled in front of the axle of the front wheels which can be freely directed and is capable of being operated by the user to direct and control the skateboard in its movement over the ground.
- Wind drawn skateboard, according to claim 1, wherein the assembly of the sail on the corresponding board of the skateboard is formed of a lower pin of the sail that is screwed into a fitting fixed in a vertical hole of the board for this purpose.
