Abstract

Es wird ein Fahrzeugmietsystem vorgeschlagen, bei dem einem Fuhrpark mit mehreren Mietfahrzeugen (1 bis 3) ein bestimmtes Mietterminal (4) zugeordnet ist. Das Mietterminal (4) umfaßt einen Schlüsseltresor (7) mit einer der Anzahl der Mietfahrzeuge entsprechenden Anzahl von Schließfächern (S1 bis S8), in denen die Fahrzeugschlüssel der Mietfahrzeuge einliegen. Ein Fahrzeugmieter kann am Mietterminal (4) ein bestimmtes Mietfahrzeug (2) anmieten und den zugehörigen Fahrzeugschlüssel (F2) zusammen mit einem Datenträger (8) aus dem entsprechenden Schließfach (S2) entnehmen. Am Ende der Mietdauer wird dort der Fahrzeugschlüssel (F2) wieder abgegeben, so daß das Mietterminal (4) selbsttätig eine Abrechnung der Mietkosten anhand der auf dem Datenträger (8) befindlichen Daten erstellen kann.

The rental terminal (4) comprises a key safe (7) with a number of lockers (S1 to S8) corresponding to the number of rental vehicles, in which the vehicle keys of the rental vehicles are stored. A vehicle renter can rent a specific rental vehicle (2) at the rental terminal (4) and remove the associated vehicle key (F2) together with a data carrier (8) from the corresponding locker (S2).
