Abstract

Dans les bielles de moteurs à combustion interne, des coquilles de coussinets sont utilisées dans les trous terminaux de bielle. L'utilisation de coquilles de coussinets implique une complexité technique en termes de production, qui est fréquemment source d'erreurs. Ce nouveau procédé vise à produire des paliers de bielle à montage moins complexe et à liaison solide avec le métal antifriction. Selon l'invention, le trou de la tête de bielle (3) est percé au préalable, criqué, puis à nouveau percé en fonction de la tolérance requise pour le revêtement. Il est ensuite sablé et recouvert par plasma d'une couche microporeuse de bronze d'aluminium. Au début de la projection au plasma, la couche appliquée par plasma est déposée à température élevée, ce qui permet d'obtenir une bonne liaison de ladite couche déposée par plasma avec le matériau dans lequel est réalisé le trou terminal de la bielle, ainsi qu'une couche déposée par plasma de porosité réduite. Pour éviter que le matériau dans lequel est réalisé le trou terminal de la bielle ne cuise à bloc, la température de dépôt chimique de la couche déposée par plasma est abaissée pour la zone où ladite couche sera éliminée dans le cadre d'un traitement ultérieur. Après recouvrement au plasma, le trou terminal de la bielle est ouvert par séparation du chapeau de palier (9), la couche déposée par plasma (16) étant alors rompue. Le chapeau (9) est ensuite à nouveau vissé et la couche de glissement proprement dite est ensuite terminée par perçage précis. Pour améliorer le volume de contenance d'huile, la couche déposée par plasma (16) comporte une rainure annulaire (32). Cette invention s'utilise dans des moteurs à combustion interne.
