Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von einem metallischen Verbundwerkstoffes umfassend Deckschichten (14,16) aus massivem Material sowie einem zwischen diesen befindlichen aufschäumbaren Kern (12) bestehend aus einer Mischung mindestens eines Metallpulvers und mindestens eines gasabspaltenden Treibmittelpulvers, wobei aus den Deckschichten und der Mischung ein Verbund (10) hergestellt wird, der nach gegebenenfalls einer Formgebung thermisch derart behandelt wird, dass ein Aufschäumen des Kerns erfolgt. Um eine verfahrensmäßige Vereinfachung bei der Herstellung von ausschäumbaren Metallkörpern zu erzielen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Mischung aus dem mindestens einen Metallpulver und dem mindestens einen gasabspaltenden Treibmittelpulver zusammen mit den Deckschichten in einem einzigen bzw. gleichzeitig ablaufenden Verfahrensschritt durch Druckeinwirkung zu dem Verbund ausgebildet wird.
