Abstract

A lawn sprinkler has a horizontal duct (2) which sweeps to either side in a reciprocal action and which has a number of water jets. The jets are made of elastic material and are clipped into the duct. A slider (30) fitted over each jet has a profiled slot to grip the jet and to vary the flow diameter of the jet between fully to fully closed. This enables the operator to vary the sprinkler rate in a continuous manner between fully on to fully off.
