Abstract

The shank (2) on its free end (20) is formed as a stepped hexagon (21,22). The sleeve-form shank extension (3) is formed with a stepped hexagonal inner contour (31,32) with different diameters on respective sides of the shank extension. The tool insert holder (4) is constructed externally and internally with a hexagonal contour (42,45). It has a collar or base in its longitudinal centre, acting as a stop for two tool inserts fitted from the two respective ends.
