Description
- The present specification relates to an application for a Patent of Invention, referring to a skin corrector for the sternal region, the purpose of which is to avoid the appearance of antiaesthetic wrinkles on the sternal canal of women, especially in those women having very bulky breasts, which cause the appearance of wrinkles as a consequence of the pressure exerted by the breasts by reason of the gravity, especially when a woman is in a lateral position as, for example sleeping or resting on the bed.
- The skin corrector actuates by keeping the user's breasts duly supported, so avoiding them to move in a coincidental direction, which helps to avoid the appearance of wrinkles on the protected region, that is to say, on the esternal canal.
- This invention will find application in the industry intended for the manufacture of auxiliary elements for medicine field, and also in the industry of the corsetterie and lingerie.
- The applicant is not aware of the existence, at present, of any element or apparatus intended for carrying out a correction or the appearance of wrinkles on the sternal canal of women, being confirmed, on the other hand, that the therapeutics neither prevents nor corrects said problem, since this arises when a woman remains for several hours in a lateral position, this position causing the appearance of wrinkles on the adipose paniculus as a consequence of the excessive weight of the breasts when they have a sizeable volume.
- The skin corrector for the sternal region as proposed by the invention, is defined per se as an element capable of fixing the epidermic paniculus located at the anterior face of the women's sternum. This skin-corrector can be used in a fully innocuous manner, allowing, starting from a continuous use thereof, and - utilizing the breasts gravity, the appearance of wrinkles at the mentioned esternal canal to be avoided or, at least, to be delayed.
- The skin corrector for the esternal region of the invention is configured starting from a central body presenting a upper zone having a considerable width and an adequate size to the user woman's anatomy. Its upper part presents a curved external portion, and its lower part has a sinusoidal configuration determining the existence of a gradual narrowing till being configured as a vertical band, this part being made of a transparent and semirigid PVC sheet having a determined thickness and being obviously fitted with a fully blunt and rounded perimeter, this central region being incorporated between both breasts of the user, and the vertical band being aligned on the lower part, two lingerie or corseterie ribbons or braces emerging from the ends of the upper part, and also from the sides, which by means of the necessary conventional regulating elements, are bonded one other at a point in which a fastening - means, also conventional, is located, lingerie type, such as, for example, the fastening means of a standard brassière, the union of the fastening means being carried out at the user's back, the breasts remaining emergent at the two sides of the central part.
- Obviously, this central part presents a foam rubber or similar cushion, in order to obviate the possibility of causing scratches at the user's skin, and, at the same time, to obtain a better adaptation to the region on - which the corrector is located.
- As already mentioned, the object of the invention is to be adjusted on the fore face of the sternum and between the user's breasts, with the protecting part of foam rubber on the skin, and the braces or fastening elements being fastened up at the back of the user, that is to - say, on the back like a brassière.
- In order to complement this description and to aid to a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, the appending sheet of drawings, which is a part of this specification, shows, by way of illustrative and non-limiting example, the following:
- Figure 1 shows a plan view of the object of the invention, fully extended, relative to a skin corrector for the sternal region.
- Figure 2 shows a longitudinal section view of the central portion of the corrector, showing the elements constituting the body to be directly fixed to the esternal canal of a woman.
-
- On the face of these figures, it can be seen that the skin corrector for the esternal region as proposed by the invention, is constituted starting from a central body (1), configured by a transparent and semirig PVC sheet, having an appropiate thickness and having fully rounded edges.
- The PVC part (1) is covered by a foam rubber cushion (2), having also an adequate thickness, the PVD part (1) being inserted in the foam rubber cushion (2) in order to avoid the user's skin to be damaged, and, at the same, time to get a better adaptation to the region on which the corrector is located.
- The PVC part (1), covered by a foam rubber cushion - (2), is outwardly covered by a wrapping (3), configured as a piece of satin or lycrum, the function of which is to cover the two parts constituting the PVC base (1) and the foam rubber cushion (2), allowing appropiate couplings to be fastened on the wrapping (3) by conventional means (7), so that the corrector presents braces or similar (6) emerging from the ends of the upper area and from the side ends of the lower area, coinciding in spots configured as conventional couplings (4) and (4'), each brace (6) presenting adjustment means for regulating the dimensions (4) such as shown in figure 1.
- That it to say, the braces or fastenings (6) have an elastic nature and are adjustable on the lines of the existence of the comventional adjustment elements for calibrating the length (5), as like elements used in corseterie.
- When using the corrector, this is to be adjusted on the front face of the user's sternum, exactly between her breasts, with the foam rubber cushion or protection (2) on the user's skin, the braces (6) being fastened at the back of her body or shoulders, like a conventional brassière.
- This corrector should be used in the night or when going to bed, the corrector remaining on her body during all the hours lasting her rest stage, sleep or repose.
- It is not considered necessary to extend this description for any expert in the art to understand the scope of the invention and the advantages derived from it.
- The materials, shape, size and arrangement of the - elements will be open to variation, provided that it does not imply any alteration to the essence of the invention.
- The terms under which this specification has been described should be always taken in an ample and non-limiting sense.
