Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Kühlen von Wasser od.dgl. Fließmedien wird eine Kühlvorrichtung eingesetzt mit - - ein Lamellenpaket (22) bildenden - - Rieseleinbauten oder Lamelleneinsätzen (18) unterhalb wenigstens einer Sprüheinrichtung (50) in einem nach oben hin offenen Sprühraum für Sprühflüssigkeit und zumindest einem unterhalb der Rieseleinbauten (18) einblasenden Lüfter oder Ventilator (16) zum Erzeugen eines gegen die Strömungsrichtung der Sprühflüssigkeit geführten Luftstroms (x). Das Fließmedium wird durch wenigstens einen im Lamellenpaket (22) vorgesehenen Förderkanal (24) geleitet sowie in diesem einer von ihm getrennt bleibenden Sprühflüssigkeit ausgesetzt, deren Temperatur unterschiedlich zur Temperatur des Fließmediums ist. Durch Sprühdüsen (26a) der Sprüheinrichtung (50) werden Sprühbilder (28a) aus Sprühflüssigkeit erzeugt, und mit jedem von ihnen wird ein Sprühbereich auf der besprühten Oberfläche des Lamellenpakets (22) als Wärmetauscher bestimmt, wobei die Sprühbereiche (28a) dicht nebeneinander liegen sowie sich berührend oder überlappend angeordnet werden.
