Definitions
- the invention relates to a cover for a gutter, in particular a gutter consisting of a Through holes provided strip-shaped section, the Width substantially equal to the width of the free top the gutter to be covered, the stripe-shaped Section has a substantially zigzag cross-section with elevations and depressions.
- Gutters provided below the lower edges of Roofs are arranged and the collection and derivation of Rain and meltwater serve.
- Gutters are usually made of galvanized sheet steel, copper or plastic and have a substantially semicircular or box-shaped Cross-section, with the outer free longitudinal edge mostly after is crimped on the outside so that it has a circular bead forms.
- the inner longitudinal edge of a gutter is either also flanged or simply at the upper end section angled outside.
- the gutter is supported by bow-shaped brackets, whose profile is adapted to the outer contour of the gutter and the are attached to the roof structure.
- the gutters are particularly worn in autumn and winter Falling leaves so dirty that the water jams in the gutter and eventually overflows .. That overflowing water can easily damage the facade as well lead in the foundations.
- the utility model G 9 412 622 suggests a cover for the Gutter in front, which is essentially zigzag-shaped Has cross-section and circular in the recesses Through openings for melt and rain water are provided.
- the zigzag cross-section has compared to one Coverage in level training, as e.g. from DE 36 15 480 is known, the advantage that the leaves predominantly only rest on the ridges and therefore only along the Attach elevations to the cover. By stronger wind the leaves are blown off the cover.
- Another cover is known from Au 5 709 57B.
- the device described has the disadvantage that the Slightly block through holes in the recesses.
- the object is achieved in that the Through openings are at least from one depression to extend to the next.
- the through openings are preferably essentially rectangular elongated holes.
- the surveys and Recesses advantageously extend in the longitudinal direction of the Cover and the elongated holes are in their longitudinal axis for this preferably arranged transversely. Every slot is therefore formed at least between two wells.
- the elongated holes can also span several depressions extend and across the width of the cover only via webs be connected, which is only at the top of the surveys are trained.
- This training will be almost continuous longitudinal slots across the cover, which only interrupted by a few bridges on the ridges are. With continuous longitudinal slots, the tendency is to Least constipation.
- the longitudinal holes are both in the longitudinal direction and in Transverse direction aligned. This has the advantage that when mounting the cover this easily to the desired one Length can be cut to length. To do this, only the Edge sections and the webs between the longitudinal holes be severed.
- the area is Through openings essentially equal to or larger than Area formed by the webs in between becomes. If there is wet leaves on the cover, it tends to to stick to when drying. Through the zigzag shaped Cross section as well as through the over the ridges the leaves are only through through openings at individual points of increases and can at these stick together. Nevertheless, many sheets adhere so strongly that they a light wind cannot blow away from the cover. Because the area of the through openings is equal to or is larger than that of the bridges, the wind does not get in covered areas between cover and gutter and presses the sheets from bottom to top away from the cover. Often it is sufficient to bend the marginal areas of the leaves slightly, see above that the wind sweeping over the cover grips the sheet and can detach from the cover.
- the angle of the zigzag webs to Transverse axis of the cover is preferably between 10 ° and 20 °. An angle that is too steep is disadvantageous because of this wind-protected zones are formed in the depressions.
- the cover has Fasteners through which it is on the bead of the gutter can be locked.
- the fastener is preferred formed by a hook, which on the bead of the gutter can be clipped on, opposite the hook on the Cover at least one web is formed, which as Abutment for the hook is used.
- the web advantageously extends further from the Bottom of the cover off as the hook.
- the compared to the area of the web protruding from the hook forms a guide when the cover is placed on the bead.
- the cover is advantageously made in one piece and made of plastic manufactured.
- Fig. 1 shows a cover 1 in a view from above.
- the Cover 1 is substantially rectangular and has a width b.
- This width b corresponds to the upper one open end of a gutter, e.g. a gutter, and is thus about 16.5 cm.
- the length of the section can will be different and will be for practicality reasons usually chosen with 1 m.
- the section has a number of through openings 3, which are designed as elongated holes and cross to Extend the longitudinal axis of the cover. across the width of the Cover, three slots are aligned, which are separated via webs 6. In the longitudinal direction of the The elongated holes are covered with one another via webs 8 separated, which spanned the entire width of the cover go through.
- the width of the webs 8 of the elongated holes is narrower chosen as the width of the elongated holes themselves, so that the Area formed by the through openings 3, is larger than the one through the webs 6 and 8 is produced.
- FIG. 2 shows the cross section of the cover 1 in that in FIG. 3 shown section A-B.
- the cross section is zigzag with elevations 4 and depressions 5.
- the Through openings 3 each extend from one Elevation 4 over two wells 5 and the one in between Elevation 4 to the next but one elevation 4.
- the webs 6 between the elongated holes are 4 at every second elevation intended.
- the webs 8 running in a zigzag shape have an angle ⁇ of ⁇ 10 ° to 20 ° to the transverse axis of the cover and preferably 14 °.
- the cover 1 has a hook 7 on one side, which is designed so that it on the bead one Gutter can be attached. As abutments are opposite the hook 7 two webs 9, 9 'formed, in Fig. 2 only the web 9 'is shown. Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cover for a gutter, in particular a gutter consisting of a Through holes provided strip-shaped section, the Width substantially equal to the width of the free top the gutter to be covered, the stripe-shaped Section has a substantially zigzag cross-section with elevations and depressions.
Such a cover is among others for conventional ones Gutters provided below the lower edges of Roofs are arranged and the collection and derivation of Rain and meltwater serve. Gutters are usually made of galvanized sheet steel, copper or plastic and have a substantially semicircular or box-shaped Cross-section, with the outer free longitudinal edge mostly after is crimped on the outside so that it has a circular bead forms. The inner longitudinal edge of a gutter is either also flanged or simply at the upper end section angled outside.
The gutter is supported by bow-shaped brackets, whose profile is adapted to the outer contour of the gutter and the are attached to the roof structure.
For houses that are in the vicinity of trees, the gutters are particularly worn in autumn and winter Falling leaves so dirty that the water jams in the gutter and eventually overflows .. That overflowing water can easily damage the facade as well lead in the foundations.
In order to avoid regular cleaning of the gutter,
the
The zigzag cross-section has compared to one Coverage in level training, as e.g. from DE 36 15 480 is known, the advantage that the leaves predominantly only rest on the ridges and therefore only along the Attach elevations to the cover. By stronger wind the leaves are blown off the cover.
Another cover is known from Au 5 709 57B.
However, the device described has the disadvantage that the Slightly block through holes in the recesses. There of trees not only whole smooth leaves, but often also Leaf parts, shriveled and slightly rolled leaves can fall between the wells deposit. Falling needles and sand from the roof tiles do their part to close the openings clog.
It is therefore an object of the invention, the generic Develop coverage in such a way that the risk of Clogging of the through openings is cleared and the Leaves easily blown off the cover by a gust of wind can be.
The object is achieved in that the Through openings are at least from one depression to extend to the next.
Through this training is a through openings on the entire area of an increase is provided. Would now Sheet or other dirt particles the lower part of the Clog the recess so that the water can run off to the side because in the side walls forming the elevation Through openings are also provided. Through the Formation of the through openings according to the invention are Elevations interrupted by the through openings and the Leaves are only on the ridges in the webs between the Through openings. By reducing the circulation of the Sheets on individual dots stick less to the Cover.
The through openings are preferably essentially rectangular elongated holes. The surveys and Recesses advantageously extend in the longitudinal direction of the Cover and the elongated holes are in their longitudinal axis for this preferably arranged transversely. Every slot is therefore formed at least between two wells.
The elongated holes can also span several depressions extend and across the width of the cover only via webs be connected, which is only at the top of the surveys are trained. This training will be almost continuous longitudinal slots across the cover, which only interrupted by a few bridges on the ridges are. With continuous longitudinal slots, the tendency is to Least constipation.
There are preferably three across the width of a cover Elongated holes are provided so that the longitudinal slots only by two Webs are interrupted.
The longitudinal holes are both in the longitudinal direction and in Transverse direction aligned. This has the advantage that when mounting the cover this easily to the desired one Length can be cut to length. To do this, only the Edge sections and the webs between the longitudinal holes be severed.
In a preferred embodiment, the area is Through openings essentially equal to or larger than Area formed by the webs in between becomes.
The angle of the zigzag webs to Transverse axis of the cover is preferably between 10 ° and 20 °. An angle that is too steep is disadvantageous because of this wind-protected zones are formed in the depressions.
In an advantageous embodiment, the cover has Fasteners through which it is on the bead of the gutter can be locked. The fastener is preferred formed by a hook, which on the bead of the gutter can be clipped on, opposite the hook on the Cover at least one web is formed, which as Abutment for the hook is used.
The web advantageously extends further from the Bottom of the cover off as the hook. The compared to the area of the web protruding from the hook forms a guide when the cover is placed on the bead.
The cover is advantageously made in one piece and made of plastic manufactured.
