Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gasbrenner mit einem Brennerkörper (15), der zumindest teilweise von einer porösen Struktur durchdrungen ist, wobei in der porösen Struktur die Verbrennung eines Brenngas-Luft-Gemisches stattfindet, und wobei dem Brennerkörper zum Abtausch der entstandenen Verbrennungswämre wenigstens ein Wärmetauscher (17) zugeordnet ist. Zur Reduzierung von Kohlenmonoxidemissionen ist es erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß die verfügbare Brennzone des Brennerkörpers in wenigstens zwei Teil-Brennzonen (A,B) untergliedert ist, und daß aus der ersten Teil-Brennzone (A), die im Bereich einer bei kleinen Brennerleistungen gebildeten Reaktionszone angeordnet ist, weniger Wärme in den den Brennerkörper umgebenden Raum ausgekoppelt ist, als aus den übrigen Teil-Brennzonen.
