Description

Le raccordement des câbles électriques à la pompe se réalise par l'intermédiaire de traversées de paroi étanches ou de connecteurs (étanches ou surmoulés).Cascade control of lift pumps (from 2 to "n" pumps), is achieved by means of level sensors placed in the sump and connected to an electrical box. The order is made through electronic or electromechanical circuits that manage information in from level sensors and internal pump controls. The Lifting unit start-up and shutdown orders pass through the supply wires for pump motors. The electrical control box is generally installed near the sump or in a separate room. The electrical cables are connected to the pump via waterproof wall bushings or connectors (waterproof or overmolded).

All sensor components, lift pumps, control being separated, their connections between them must be carried out by an electrician with respect for installation and safety standards.

The complexity of the installations often results in difficulties of device operation and delicate maintenance.

The present invention overcomes the drawbacks mentioned above by a submersible pump unit, which does not require for its assembly that a simple electrical connection operation without therefore that a experienced electrician has to intervene and has to make adjustments and read a connection diagram for an electrical box that is difficult to understand at all other than him, while having good automatic operation of a cascade of pumps.

Un groupe motopompe submersible ayant les caractéristiques du préambule de la revendication 1 est connu par example de la divulgation DE 295 08 802 U.A submersible motor pump group having the characteristics of the preamble of claim 1 is known for example from the disclosure DE 295 08 802 U.

Le groupe motopompe submersible suivant l'invention est défini à la revendication 1.The submersible motor pump group according to the invention is defined in claim 1.

We are no longer looking to order the motor using an electrical box or cabinet which did not need to be waterproof, because it was placed away from the engine and therefore outside the liquid to be transported and which could adapt to many types of engine provided that an electrician is willing to do the work of adjusting and mounting. On the contrary, the control device is now affected to the engine but, thanks to the fact that the control device is fixed manufacturing on the motor casing, you can adjust the control device in the factory and be satisfied, since it has already been adjusted in the factory, to connect it without having to make any adjustments. The assembly is simplified to the extreme. Of plus, as the control device is now in close proximity of the level detector, the connections between them are very simplified, which contributes greatly to reducing the complexity of the whole. The device control is supplied with electric current via a cable power supply and includes a signal generator, which according to a indication provided by the level detector, sends, via the power cable, a signal outside the control device, preference likely to be received by another following pump group the invention when this other group is connected to the power cable. The control device of the first pump can thus, by carrier current, give instructions to the control device of the second pump, make it known that it is working or not working or that it is in good condition, and reciprocally receive the same information from the control device of the second pump and each control device can control its pump accordingly.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the detector is fixed to the control device by the sealing means which consist of resin, the same mass of which also coats the level detector which can be capacimetric type. It can also be a radio frequency detector.

The single figure of the accompanying drawing illustrates the invention.

Two groups 1, 2 motor pumps are immersed in a tank C submersibles. The two groups are identical. Each group includes a motor 3 driving an impeller 4. The motor is surrounded by an envelope 5 impervious to the liquid to be conveyed contained in the tank C. On the lateral face of the casing 5 is fixed a control device 6 which is embedded in liquid tight resin to be transported. This device 6 is integrated by being coated in the same resin with a capacitance level detector 7. The electrical control device 6 which consists of a circuit board printed is connected by a cable 8 to a power supply network 9 electric. The pump set comprises a discharge pipe 10 and a suction port 11.

The pump unit 1 is connected by cable 8 and the network 9, as well as by a cable 12, to the other pump unit 2.
In the control device 6, the detector 7 is connected by a conductor 13 to a signal generator 14. The signal generator 14 is capable of sending signals via cable 8, network 9 and, cable 12 to group 2. As generator 14, it is possible to use the integrated circuit TDA 5051 A available from the company Philips Semiconductors .

To cascade the two groups 1,2, simply connect the cables 8 and 12 on the network 9.

Of course, we can provide for a larger number of groups than of them.
