Abstract

Ein Kalander für eine Bahn (18), insbesondere Papierbahn, weist einen Walzenstapel mit Walzen (7 bis 14) auf, deren Achse in einer horizontalen Ebene liegen. Die Endwalzen (7, 14) sind Biegeeinstellwalzen. Die Mittelwalzen (8 bis 11) sind an Hebeln (21) gelagert, an denen Vorrichtungen (23) zur Krafteinleitung angreifen. Auf diese Weise kann der Gewichtseinfluß der Walzen eliminiert, trotzdem aber eine wählbare unterschiedliche Streckenlast vorgesehen werden.
