Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Kühlung rückgeführten Abgases einer flüssigkeitsgekühlten Brennkraftmaschine mit Abgasrückführeinrichtung. Die Vorrichtung kennzeichnet sich dabei durch einen Kühleinsatz (7, 7') in einem kühlflüssigkeitsführenden Kanal (6, 6') der Brennkraftmaschine und eine entsprechende Gestaltung des den Kanal (6, 6') im Bereich des Kühleinsatzes (7, 7') begrenzenden Bauteils (1, 28) für eine Kühlung des den Kühleinsatz (7, 7') durchströmenden rückgeführten Abgases durch die den Kanal (6, 6') durchströmende Kühlflüssigkeit. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren kennzeichnet sich dadurch, daß das rückgeführte Abgas vor seiner Wiedereinleitung in den Verbrennungsprozeß der Brennkraftmaschine durch einen in einem kühlflüssigkeitsführenden Kanal (6, 6') angeordneten Kühleinsatz (7, 7') hindurchgeleitet und dabei durch die den Kanal (6, 6') durchströmende Kühlflüssigkeit der Brennkraftmaschine gekühlt wird.
