Ein Verfahren zum Härten und zum Erhöhen der Kratzfestigkeit von zumindest einer Lackschicht, die zuvor mit UV- und/oder Elektronenstrahlung ausgehärtet worden ist, sieht vor, daß nach der Aushärtung die Lackschicht mit Infrarotstrahlung, insbesondere der IR-Strahlung eines CO2-Lasers, bestrahlt wird.
