Abstract

The clothing structure for the components which apply a mechanical working to fiber suspensions, and especially grinding, has an inserted elastic bond between the working section (2) and the base body (1). The bonding is a layer (3) with a thickness (a) of at least 0.5 mm or at least 1.0 mm. The bonding includes vulcanizing a polymer as the bonding material at a temperature of 100-150 degrees C and at an absolute pressure of at least 3 bar in an air/steam atmosphere. The polymer material is shaped into a plate with an adhesive on both sides, mounted to the base body (1) and the working section (2) is fitted over it for vulcanizing. The plate forms an elastic layer (3), bonded to the flanking working section (2) and base body (1). The working section (2) is of a ceramic material, forming bars (4) towards the fiber side, with a projection (c) beyond the groove base of 2-20 mm. The end surface (5) of the section (2) is porous. The base body (1) has at least one opening for a projection at the working section (2) to fit into it, leaving a gap to the take the polymer layer (3) thickness (a). The intermediate layer material can have a series of projecting ribs, to fit into matching openings in the working section (2) and base body (1), to bond them together by vulcanizing. Before vulcanizing, polymer plugs can be inserted into drillings in either of the outer sections (1,2), to bond with the polymer intermediate layer (3) during vulcanizing. The base body (1) is a circular ring, composed of ring segments, or it has a truncated cone shape. The components can also be bonded together by screw bolts, and a groove lock.

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing sets according to the Preamble of claim 1.

Sets produced in this way serve the mechanical processing of suspended Fiber material. This primarily means grinding paper fibers, dispersing Impurities and fibers, as well as deflaking, i.e. the dissolving of Fiber agglomerates meant. Sets are e.g. in grinding machines - so-called Refiner built-in. The suspension in refiners has a solids content of approximately 2 - 8%. Similar fabric densities are also set in deflowers. Also in Impellers used in fabric detachments can be trimmings in the sense mentioned here have with which the wet crushing of the entered fiber material is carried out. In machines for higher consistency, one speaks e.g. of High consistency mills, dispersers or kneaders. The mechanical taking place in it Processing can cover the entire fibrous material, including the contained material Disperse contaminants. Such machines have at least one rotor and at least one a stator with either disk-shaped or conical surfaces on which the Trimmings are attached so that gaps can form between them. Many sets have ridges and grooves on the work surfaces, which is why one speaks of "knife sets". Other sets are in the form of toothed rings. It is known that in addition to the shape of such webs, grooves and teeth, the material, of which they are made has an impact on the processing of the pulp.

The sets are subject to wear and must therefore be used in certain Intervals to be replaced. The wear can also occur during the lifespan cause the machining effect to change. Shape and surface of the This is because sets have an outstanding influence on the machining effect.

It is therefore understandable that for the development of trimmings a considerable one Effort is driven, which is reflected in the design of their shape and in the selection of the Material precipitates. It has been shown that materials used for Machining elements are particularly suitable to have properties that are in their Use for the main body of the set can be very problematic. In particular, this relates to materials that are very hard and brittle, e.g. ceramics, and therefore do not have the toughness necessary for the base body. Are more such materials are relatively expensive and complex to manufacture and can be Machining compared to normal metallic materials only with great effort.

B. denen einer Mahlmaschine, her. The basic body of a processing tool is the connection of the Machining elements to the other components, e.g. B. those of a grinder. Because of the high forces that occur in such a grinding machine, the Base body made particularly high strength requirements. It must also be possible be secure with the grinder, for which purpose e.g. highly tense Screws are required. Because of these requirements is a particularly solid and tough material required.

This However, the publication speaks only in general terms of a binding aid, which is applied between the base body and the processing element and names as concrete examples the very complex high-temperature soldering process under vacuum or gluing process. However, these methods are not always suitable Applicable, too expensive for some applications or lead to the choice of cheaper ones Procedure for insufficient strengths.

The invention has for its object the process for the production of trimmings to be designed so that particularly suitable brittle materials for the Machining elements used and in a relatively simple way with the base body can be connected.

This object is achieved by the characterizing part of claim 1 or claim 27 mentioned features solved.

In the manufacturing process of this type - as is known per se - for Machining elements used a different material than for the base body. The has the main advantage that the material selection for the processing elements is matched to the desired machining technology, while the material of the Main body is primarily optimized for its strength and cost.

According to the invention, the connection of the base body and machining elements elastic, sufficiently precise and inexpensive overall. The so connected Parts should not be moved towards each other, but it should Damping effect of the elastic layer have a favorable effect. She builds Voltage peaks and also reduces the annoyance of such machines Noise generation. Vulcanizing is one in production technology already widespread process that can also be used for high requirements, e.g. at Chassis of motor vehicles, has proven where it connects steel parts movable against each other. Surprisingly, it also delivers the combination of ceramic and steel for the applications considered here necessary properties. A homogeneous layer can be formed be that sticks on both sides and hardens so that it remains elastic in the mass. Or a finished elastic material layer is glued on both sides.

By forming an intermediate layer, e.g. of about 0.5-2 mm, can do that too different expansion behavior of the joining partners are compensated. The The coefficients of thermal expansion of ceramic and steel differ considerably. With rigid connections this alone can lead to problems.

It is also favorable that the temperatures during vulcanization are far below that Melting point of the joining partners. There is another advantage to the Invention: In some cases it is possible that a worn set can be refurbished by removing the remains of the machining elements and be replaced by new ones.

To explain the method according to the invention, it is appropriate to use it to represent the trimmings produced.

Fig. 1 shows a side view of the base body 1 with a processing element 2, the is provided with various long strips 4. The shorter one is cut. The strips of the processing element 2 protrude from the projection c, whereby a grinding set is created, which is also known as a knife set. To the Connection surfaces between the processing element 2 and the base body 1 one recognizes an already fully vulcanized layer 3, which from one for vulcanization suitable polymer. This layer is flat and large, what for that Vulcanization is optimal. The base body 1 is not through Shown, usually releasable connecting elements on the rotor 8 of the grinding machine attached, which in turn is driven by the shaft 9. Of course the sets produced by the method can also be attached to a stator his.

Fig. 2 zeigt eine ähnliche Garnitur in Aufsicht. Fig. 2 shows a similar set in supervision. This representation is also only schematically. One recognizes an annular base body 1 with the one on it attached processing elements 2. These in turn carry strips 4 with the width b, are straight here and sometimes of different lengths. Such strips have a width b between 1 and 200 mm, preferably 1 to 20 mm. They are also curved strips imaginable. Layer 3 can also cover base body 1 where there are none Editing elements. This also serves the corrosion and Wear protection.

The method according to the invention can also be used if none with strips provided machining elements, but - as shown in Fig. 3 - those with abrasive porous surface 5 'to be used.

In the example shown in FIG. 4, recesses 6 are incorporated in the base body 1, fit into the complementary elevations 7 of the processing element 2 'so that A centering collar is created on one side and otherwise room for expansion or for Compensation for tolerances remains free. This can also be done before the fastening step an exact positioning of the processing element and the strength of the Connection will be increased. This additional effort can, however, in many cases omitted. Layer 3 is again indicated on the contact surfaces of the joining partners. In other cases not shown here, the one that remains free in the dimensions can Intermediate space can also be filled with elastic material.

In Fig. 5 a set with strips is shown in perspective, in which the individual strips as processing elements 2 directly on a flat surface of the Base body 1 are attached. For the exact positioning of the processing elements 2, a corresponding mounting device can be used with advantage.

In Fig. 6 the part of a cone refiner can be seen schematically with inside Rotor 8 ', on which a frustoconical base body 1' is placed. This Base body 1 'contains machining elements 2, of applied according to the invention one of which is partially visible. The processing elements 2 are through a layer 3 connected to the base body 1 '. Also the frustoconical stator this machine can be provided with sets manufactured according to the invention, but it doesn't have to be.

A further embodiment of those produced by the method according to the invention 7 shows sets. This is a basic body 1 Annular segment, which is mounted on a rotor 8. When assembling the machine both on the rotor and on the stator, a ring of such segments composed. The segment shown contains several groups in radial order from Z. B. vulcanized processing elements 2. The division of the set in various processing elements must be carried out according to practical considerations, e.g. Handling and production of the processing elements.

The part of a processing element 2 "that is less for fiber modification (grinding) as intended for the dispersion or deflaking of the fibrous material, shows the Fig. 8. This is a form of Toothed ring sets, such as those installed in dispersers or deflakers. Such Toothed rings are often made from a special wear-resistant material and can be completely or segmentally attached to the base body by vulcanization become. Even with such sets - not shown here - recesses and Elevations are attached, which facilitate the exact positioning and the strength increase the finished set further.

It is also conceivable to attach screw connections 10 between base body 1 and Processing element 2, as in Fig. 9, 10 and 11 using examples of a grinding set is shown. 9 and 10, the screw in the base body 1st screwed. The through hole 11 through the machining element 2 is there far enough to allow limited lateral compensation movement. The important However, the size of the clothing height H is clearly fixed. In Fig. 10, layer 3 of the Polymers also in the through hole and to the screw seat. This one though higher effort leads to even better strength of the clothing.

Instead of the screw connection, you can also use a connection Vulcanized knobs 12 are provided. This solution is shown in Fig. 11. The knobs 12 are advantageously made of the same polymer as the layer 3, which is between Machining element and base body. They are elastic and increase on simple Way the strength of the set. The knobs are e.g. made separately and before the vulcanization into the corresponding bores of the processing element 2 or Basic body 1 inserted. You can also use the Polymer plate be firmly connected and e.g. elastic when mounting in the holes engage.

In other screw connections, the thread can be machined into the machining element 2 be let in if its material is suitable for it. Such a case is in FIG. 12 shown. Then the machining surface is not through these screws impaired.
