Abstract

The present invention relates to a stick (1) with signal markings in particular to aid walking-impaired people, said stick comprising a rod which has a handle at the top, the lower part of the rod (6) being provided with activatable light sources (5) which may be connected to an energy supply (9) via a switch (11). These light sources (5) consist of at least one light emitting diode (LED) which preferably emits light in a direction directly away from the stick. This results in a stick with a good signalling effect and a low energy consumption.
