Claims (21)

  1. Laying aid for floor covering elements having a groove and a tongue, in particular, ready-made parquet flooring, laminated or floor panels, comprising a first holding part (20, 34) fixable on one of the floor covering elements (14), and a belt (16, 26, 36) held in a first receiving means (20b, 38) on the first holding part (20, 34), characterized in that a second holding part (24, 30) fixable on one of the floor covering elements (14) and having a second receiving means (24b, 20b) for the belt (16, 36) is provided,
    in that the holding parts are form-shaped parts (20, 24; 30, 34) and have a base plate (20a, 24a, 34a) which is positionable on the floor covering elements (14) and has an arm (19) extending from the base plate,
    in that the receiving means (20b, 38; 24b, 20b) is arranged on the respective base plate (20a, 24a, 34a) such that the belt (16, 26, 36) is held over the floor covering elements and in close proximity to the floor covering elements during use,
    and in that a tensioning device (40) acting on and rolling up the belt (16, 26, 36) is provided for clamping together the floor covering elements (14).
  2. Laying aid as defined in claim 1, characterized in that one of the shaped parts is provided with the tensioning device (40).
  3. Laying aid as defined in claim 2, characterized in that the shaped part (34) has a holding element (46, 41) for the tensioning device (40).
  4. Laying aid as defined in claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the shaped part (34) has a passage (38) for the belt (36) as receiving means for the belt (36).
  5. Laying aid as defined in any one of claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the shaped part (34) carrying the tensioning device (40) has a base plate (34a) which is of enlarged design in relation to the other shaped part (30).
  6. Laying aid as defined in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that in the case of one of the shaped parts (20, 30) the belt (36) ends with an end loop (22, 32) and engages with this end loop at the receiving means (20b) of the shaped part (20, 30).
  7. Laying aid as defined in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that with the tensioning device (40) the belt (16, 26, 36) is rollable onto a wind-up roller (42).
  8. Laying aid as defined in claim 7, characterized in that the belt (16, 26, 36) is adapted to be tensioned by means of a ratchet tensioning device (40).
  9. Laying aid as defined in claim 8, characterized in that the ratchet tensioning device (40) comprises a tensioning lever (44), and in that by actuating the tensioning lever (44) in the direction towards a ratchet tensioner body (45) the belt (16, 26, 36) is rollable on a wind-up roller (42) of the ratchet tensioning device.
  10. Laying aid as defined in claim 9, characterized in that the ratchet tensioner body (45) rests on the one shaped part (20, 24, 30, 34), and in that the tensioning lever (44) is movable in the direction towards the shaped part (20, 24, 30, 34) carrying the ratchet tensioner body (45) for rolling up the belt (16, 26, 36).
  11. Laying aid as defined in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the arms (19) extending from the base plate (20a, 24a, 34a) have a projection (25).
  12. Laying aid as defined in claim 11, characterized in that the arm (19) of one of the shaped parts (24, 30) extending from the base plate (24a, 34a) is fixable by engaging around a tongue (29, 31) of one of the floor covering elements (14).
  13. Laying aid as defined in claim 11 or 12, characterized in that the arm (19) of another one of the shaped parts (20, 34) extending from the base plate (24a, 34a) is fixable at a groove (27, 33) of another one of the floor covering elements (14).
  14. Laying aid as defined in any one of claims 11 to 13, characterized in that the projection (25) forms a bend of the arm (19).
  15. Laying aid as defined in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shaped parts (20, 34; 24, 30) are in the form of bent parts.
  16. Laying aid as defined in claim 15, characterized in that the bent parts (20, 24; 30, 34) are of identical design with respect to the length of the arm (19) and of the projection (25) formed by a second bend.
  17. Laying aid as defined in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shaped part (20, 24; 30, 34) is provided with a support element (17) predetermining a distance to the wall (21).
  18. Laying aid as defined in claim 17, characterized in that the distance of the shaped part (20, 24; 30, 34) to the wall (21) is adjustable with the support element (17).
  19. Laying aid as defined in claim 18, characterized in that the support element (17) has a convexly curved head.
  20. Laying aid as defined in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the laying aid (10) has a holding-down device (12).
  21. Laying aid as defined in claim 20, characterized in that the holding-down device (12) extends in the direction of the belt (16, 26) to such an extent that it engages over a central floor covering element (14) completely and partially over two floor covering elements (14, 14") arranged laterally of the central one.
