Abstract

Kompositfasern werden hergestellt durch

  • (a) Vermischen einer PTFE- oder PTFE-Copolymer-Dispersion oder eines PTFE- oder PTFE-Copolymer-Pulvers mit einem feinteiligen anorganischen Material und einem faserbildenden Material,
  • (b) Erhitzen des erhaltenen Gemisches unter Scherung auf eine Temperatur, bei der das PTFE oder PTFE-Copolymer unter Scherung fließfähig ist, aber keine Zersetzung zeigt, unter Entfernung des Dispergiermittels, sofern eine PTFE- oder PTFE-Copolymer-Dispersion eingesetzt wird,
  • (c) Abkühlen des Gemisches auf eine Temperatur unterhalb von 70°C,
  • (d) Scheren des Gemisches unter Mischen bei einer Temperatur unterhalb von 70°C zur Bildung der Kompositfasern.
  • Composite fibers are made by
