Description
Safety arrangement
The invention relates to a safety arrangement for improvement of general safetyness particularly in connection with a counterweight arrangement being used for streching of an aerial electric power cable or like.
Nowadays very big risks are associated particularly with counterweight arrangements being used for streching of aerial electric cables. First of all the counterweight arrangements are being used in the above purpose nowadays totally unprotectedly e.g. in railway station platforms for streching of electric power cables. The type of counterweight arrangements cause a very big risk for safetyness in practice, because the weights belonging to the same are hanging upon a cable usually at a height of about one meter from the ground and being usually attached irtoveably to a steering rail, that is supported on the ground, which enables movement of the weights. The amount of weights varies naturally depending on the lenght of the electric power cable to be streched, in which case it is very usual, however, that there are dozens of weights. The primary risk associated with the counterweight arrangement is naturally that, that someone happens to be directly under the weights falling down onto to ground e.g. for breakage of the cable, that has not been prevented in any way, in addition to which the people existing nearby are endangered, also, when the weights falling down on the ground get broken and fly arround to the surroundings.
It is the aim of the safety arrangement according to this invention to achieve a decisive improvement in the problems presented above and thus to raise subs¬ tantially the level of knowledge in the field. To achieve this aim, this invention is primarily
characterized in, that the safety arrangement includes at least one safety framework, that has been arranged essentially uniform, such as a net, rack, plate structure and/or like, to surround the counterweight arrangement, preferably essentially from all over, particularly to prevent from getting/reaching at least under the same, which safety framework has been arranged openable/moveable at least to enable cleaning of the ground under the counterweight arrangement or because of corresponding purpose.
As a crucial advantage of the invention may be mentioned improvement of general safetyness in that respect, that first of all falling of the weights directly on someone/something is being prevented as well as on the other hand spreading around to the surroundings of the weights as well as fragments of the same is prevented. As advantages of the safety arrangement may be mentioned furthermore simplicity and versatility of the construction and use of the same, in which case the basic idea of the invention may be applied in most heterogeneous places at each time with most suitable solutions and with profitable overall costs. A crucial advantage of the safety arrangement according to the invention is naturally upkeeping of positive attitude and image associated with public traffic thanks to improvement of general safetyness of the same. When advantageously exploited the safety arrangement according to the invention may be arranged as an essentially stationary structure surrounding the counterweight arrangement and/or with arrangements being supported moveably in connection with the counterweight arrangement or the steering rail supporting the same.
In the following description, the invention is illu¬ strated in detail with reference to the appended drawings. In the drawings,
figs , la and lb represent use of an advantageous safety arrangement in connection with a counterweight arrangement as a side-view and as seen from above, and
figs. 2a and 2b show as corresponding views furthermore an alternative or a complementing safety arrangement for bringing out the corresponding purpose.
The invention relates to a safety arrangement for improvement of general safetyness particularly in connection with a counterweight arrangement 1 being used for streching of an aerial electric power cable or like, whereby the safety arrangement 2 includes at least one safety framework 2a, that has been arranged essentially uniform, such as a net, rack, plate structure and/or like, to surround the counterweight arrangement 1 e.g. according to the principle shown in figs. lb and 2b essentially from all over, particularly to prevent from getting/reaching at least under the same. The safety framework 2a has been arranged openable/moveable at least to enable cleaning of the ground under the counterweight arrangement 1 or because of corresponding purpose.
Particularly according to figs, la and lb, where being represented with reference numbers, at least the part of the safety framework 2a being under the counterweight arrangement 1 is arranged strengthened by means of one or several supporting structures 2b to prevent the weights la belonging to the counterweight arrangement 1 and usually being coupled to a cable v from spreading to the surroundings during uninten¬ tional dropping situation of the counterweight arran¬ gement 1.
Furthermore as an advantageous embodiment at least the part A of the safety framework 2a being under the counterweight arrangement 1 is arranged uniform, such as a plate structure or a like, particularly to prevent litter, snow and/or like from gathering under the counterweight arrangement 1.
Furthermore according to the embodiments shown in figs, la and lb in connection with the counterweight arrangement 1 there has been used a steering rail 2c, that is supported rigidly on the ground and onto which the weights la belonging to the counterweight arrangement 1 are being supported moveably. In the embodiments shown in figs, la and lb the safety framework 2a is at least partly arranged to be supported moveable in connection with the steering rail 2c. It is thus possible to lift the safety framework 2a upwards s e.g. for cleaning of the ground under the counterweight arrangement 1.
Furthermore with reference to figs. 2a and 2b the safety framework 2a includes at least one safety part 2a', that is supported rigidly in connection with the counterweight arrangement 1 and, that surrounds the weights la belonging to the same. In the embodiment in question the safety framework 2a includes a covering part 2a", that is supported moveably in connection with the counterweight arrangement 1 and, that reaches the ground under the same. With this kind of a solution covering of the weights is enabled ia a way, that they are totally hided from the surroundings.
The invention relates, also, use of a safety arrangement, that has at least one safety framework 2a, that has been arranged essentially uniform, such as a net, rack, plate structure and/or like and, that has been arranged openable/removeable at least for cleaning of the ground under the counterweight
arrangement 1 or because of a corresponding purpose, for improvement of general safetyness particularly in connection with a counterweight arrangement 1 being used for streching of an aerial electric cable or like, particularly to prevent from getting/reaching at least under the counterweight arrangement 1.
It is obvious, that the invention is not limited to the embodiments presented or described above, but it can be modified within the basic idea even to a great extent. It is thus naturally possible to use embodiments shown e.g. in figs, la and lb and 2a and 2b simultaneously. The safety framework needs not to be moveable as a whole, but the ground under the counterweight arrangement may be arranged cleanable by arranging casing parts to the safety framework, that may be opened from one or several sides. In this connection it is naturally possible to use lifting means operating e.g. manually or by auxiliary power to move the safety framework or parts of the same in respect to each other. The safety arrangement according to the invention may thus be constructed of most heterogeneous materials by exploiting most heterogeneous manufacturin techniques, whereby the safety framework belonging to the safety arrangement may be produced besides of metal e.g. of plastics or of composite materials, e.g. carbon coal etc.
