Abstract

The treatment table has a patient support surface (1) with a number of relatively adjustable sections (2-5), coupled together via pivot hinges (7,8) at their adjacent ends. The adjustable sections are mounted on a height-adjustable support column (18). The patient support surface is pivoted at the top of the support column, each of the sections moved into a required position via hydraulic operating devices (9-12). Rotation indicators (13-15) incorporated in the pivot hinges, allow comparison of the actual position with a required position held in a memory..
