Abstract

Ein Kabelschloß (10) umfaßt ein Kabelelement (26), eine zwischen einem ersten Endbereich (28) und einem zweiten Endbereich (30) des Kabelelements (22) verlaufende Signalleitung (84) zum Übertragen elektrischer Signale zwischen dem ersten und dem zweiten Endbereich (28, 30), eine vorzugsweise an einem bewegbaren Objekt festgelegte oder festlegbare Abfrageeinheit (44) zum Erzeugen eines Abfragesignals, welches über einen Einkoppel/Auskoppel-Abschnitt (48, 82) nahe dem ersten Endbereich (28) in die Signalleitung (84) eingekoppelt wird. Ferner ist an dem Kabelelement (26) im Bereich des zweiten Endes (30) eine mit der Signalleitung (84) verbundene Antworteinheit (118) vorgesehen, um Abfragesignale über die Signalleitung (84) zu empfangen und um Antwortsignale über die Signalleitung (84) und den Einkoppel/Auskoppel-Abschnitt (48, 82) an die Abfrageeinheit (44) in Antwort auf den Empfang eines Abfragesignals auszugeben.
