Abstract
Es wird ein Plattenwärmetauscher, insbesondere ein Ölkühler, mit mehreren ineinandergesteckten Strömungswannen (1) beschrieben, deren Böden (2) je eine Wärmetauscherplatte zwischen zwei wärmeaustauschenden Medien sowie tiefgezogene Leiteinrichtungen aus zwei einander kreuzenden Scharen paralleler Rippen (15) bilden, deren Höhe dem halben gegenseitigen Abstand der Böden (2) entspricht. Um vorteilhafte Konstruktionsbedingungen zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Böden (2) der Stömungswannen (1) jeweils lediglich eine Schar paralleler Rippen (15) aufweisen und daß die einander kreuzenden Scharen paralleler Rippen (15) unmittelbar benachbarter Wärmetauscherplatten entweder auf der einander zugekehrten Seite oder auf der voneinander abgekehrten Seite der Wärmetauscherplatten vorgesehen sind und ausschließlich in die Strömungswege für eines der beiden Medien ragen.
