Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Daumenschutzeinrichtung, bei der am Daumen einer Hand einer Person ein vom Daumenkapselgelenk beabstandetes Zugmittel befestigt ist, das zumindest mittelbar an der Hand befestigt ist und einen vorbestimmten Abspreizwinkel zwischen Daumen und Hand begrenzt. Um einerseits wirkungsvoll Verletzungen am Daumen zu verhindern und andererseits die Bewegungsfreiheit des Daumens unwesentlich einzuschränken, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß das Zugmittel wenigstens eine Schlinge aufweist, welche den Daumen von der Daumenspitze beabstandet umschlingt.
